Not suprised to be honest, when you read nothing but haters on every forum, kinda knocks the wind out ya sales.

I'll reserve judgement until I play it. Never am one to give a hoot what others write in reviews anyways ;)

haha even the games i am excited about i will wait to see after launch.

"actual gameplay footage based on alpha software"

i find that to be misleading at the very least

How so? Talking about the text @ 0:37? Seems about as forthcomming as humanly possible imo.

Personally I loved it. Needed a smoke and a nap afterwards.

butt

ps. pink huh? lol

Looks like Battlefield 3 was more popular at Gamescom than MW3:

The fact that the gray signs for the MW3 line are not even out makes it easy to call this as a setup. That shot of the MW3 line was clearly taken before the show started or the booth was even open. You can tell because when the booth was open, those little gray signs are distributed throughout the booth, as this photo from when the booth was open clearly shows:

http://bf3blog.com/2011/08/battlefield-3-pc-version-wont-have-in-game-server-browser/

The tables have turned. A day after we gladly reported that console gamers would be getting this great PC feature called "server browser", we can now report that PC gamers won't have an in-game server browser. DICE's Alan Kertz has confirmed that in order to switch servers, you have to exit Battlefield 3, and use Battlelog to find another server and join.

So in order to play BF3, you have to open up Origin. Which opens up a web browser. Which opens up Battlefield 3.

Let’s see if they manage to add another step in the process before launch.

It's funny though. In CoD4 I just ran CoD4, nothing else required.

To play BC2 I run Playclaw (to take screenshots) and X-Mouse (because in-game binds don't allow two functions on the mouse wheel).

So if the same limitations apply to BF3 I will have to run Playclaw, X-Mouse, Origin and Firefox.

Disconnect button is replaced with Alt + F4 :P
