  1. Hrm..maybe I should have made the third B same as first two characters, that woulda looked tight, all in caps.
  2. Heres a pic I made playing around with flash I don't know why there is a background, guess the forum picture ...program? requires a background on all pictures posted, but their shouldn't be.
  3. A lot of people have been complaining about that lately. I mean, I know its a pain in the butt, but there is this sweet program called HLSW. You can just copy and paste a server ip into a field, and it is kinda like 'adding it to your favorites'. To connect to that server, in the hlsw (windows program client) you just right click the server, and click connect, sof2 opens automatically and u go right into that server. It will take a bit of time to find all your favorite server ip's, but it is worth it. -Mattimeo

  5. Sorry it was from rodeobob: I deleted most of his post to keep this small.
  6. I thought sensitivity was one of those hack-related cvars, its in one of your posts:P cvars to watch out for or something
  7. hrmmmm good point.....damn good point :P
  8. sounds like a typo, probly meant to put 5 or 3 in there.
  9. Heres my two cents: Ok, no they are not cheating, nor will they ever be. This is what they do IMO. The settings take a lot of 'distractions' away. They make it so your screen doesn't jumble as much when nades are thrown, your character seems to be level at all times rather than the rolling of his arms which he is constantly doing. also when getting it your screen doesn't jumble as much. Also, some of these settings (which are popular from theforce posting them all on that website that was recently posted here, who is also amd bill or codeofsilence correct?) . The settings ALSO make it appear that your shots are 'tighter' due to fov. The fov stock is usually increased so that you can see more on your screen (hence you can see more on your left/right and also things look 'farther away') When things look farther away, your shots are look tighter etc. Do I think this configs help you as a player? Yes - Very - Much - So. I use my own config (with the stock pitch/roll/yaw/speed settings) usually, but when I know i'm going to be playing against someone tough, I switch to the 'tweaked' config. Because I do much better, I'm not as good as Yang or riskyotter or jammer, but I'm nothing to sneeze at. I also made a demo of these changes and how they reflect gameplay, but I'm too lazy to avi the whole thing and edit the avi to show points of fire and blah blah blah blah blah..it was a good idea when I started it though :P p.s. this isn't considered cheating -Mattimeo
  10. You forgot to add nevadie as a top clan.
  11. It is in every q3 based game...but you do have to have specific cvars to do it...or at least make it easier
  12. I think I'm going to make one program to do that to a bunch of different game logs, like cod and whatnot. Also will work on loading bar, and will also work on the actual parse code, parsing is pretty resource intensive. If I didn't strip the colors, it'd be a lot easier. I had to use every letter in the alphabet - twice (lower case and capitals) also had to use every number and special characters (like !, @, #, }) and each one of those is a 'check' and that pretty much makes it so it takes so long lol -Mattimeo
  13. Hey y'all. I just created an SOF2 parser. This program will allow you to browse to a games.log file created from SOF2. Then you can process the file and display on the connections/name connected or the chat/says in the logfile. Kinda like quakechat but a little bit different imo. I was able to strip all color codes out not just the 0-9 codes. Also displayed connection ip/guid info. http://www.nevadie.net/pbbans/sof2parser.zip You can download it from there until it gets put up at sof2files.com Comments/suggestions welcome. -Mattimeo
