  1. My curiosity is because it isn't on all of the images, as shown above. It's just on a few, and I don't know what the difference it. Does it *really* matter? No...just wanted to satisfy my (and clanmates) curiosity. "Don't worry about it", seems to be the only response I'm going to get anywhere I ask... Thanks for the feedback tho. At least I can say we're not the only admins who don't know.
  2. I understand that sample=1 means every pixel and sample=2 means every other. Maybe I'm missing this completely, but I don't think you're understanding my question. Check out the pics above. My question is what is the difference between: sample=2 sample=2 (1) It's the same player, and both pics appear to be of sample rate 2. So my question is what does the extra "(1)" mean?
  3. Yeah....so what does the (1) mean?
  4. Ok, normally in the PBSS you see "Sample=2" like in the first pic, but what does "Sample=2 (1)" mean??
  5. You can report the server @BFROE.COM You should have proof of the violations (screenshots). And, if it were me, I'd post to BF2Player.com's "Servers to Avoid" thread to let others know to avoid it... Just IMO.
  6. Please keep asking. I'm still hoping someone comes on and says, "What do you think this is?" and we find a way of stopping the commander's hack. Besides, like you said, better to be safe than hacked...
  7. Not meant as a flame but, we have a guy in our clan who would say, "Spam bullet like a n00b, die like a n00b." Seriously tho, any time I hear "emptied my clip and he didn't go down" I have to wonder just what the accuracy was on those shots...ya know? I have definitely been in the same situation myself, wondering if this uber-soldier was cheating...but as an admin I haven't seen an actual hack which allows you to not take damage on a ranked server. Please, correct me if I'm wrong...(But Don't post info on the hack...PLEASE) My suggestion would be search for low ping servers and focus on burst fire...
  8. It is possible. Scenario: Guy loads BF2, connects to your server...then hits <esc>. He is now at his menu screen when the SS was taken. I've seen this as well, and I don't see it as a problem. What's even more strange is if they <Alt+Tab> to their desktop you can get 320x240 shots of the centre of their desktop image... When we were testing our pbss's using BF2RA I caught a shot of one of our admins' X-fire conversation! EDIT: Here's one we just got, as an exmaple...Click
  9. I just wanted to say "Thanks!" to all the people responsible for PBBans. You guys are doing a great service for the gaming community and just wanted to make sure you know we appriciate it. A special thanks to Fozzer, RodeoBob for helping our clan get set up fully! And also to Ace for putting up with my impatience... :)
  10. Ok....so how do I add someone?? :) I looked around a bit, but can't find it. Sorry to be such a bother today...
  11. Well, I can try to get our host to drop the file in. They're pretty good at letting us get the PB stuff running smoothly.
  12. Ok, so if I finish getting the Hub set up I don't need to worry about the initial list?
  13. Ok...so what do other people use to get the initial list in? Note: I do not have FTP access currently to anywhere but the PBSS directory. Thx
  14. Ok, very cool. I'll poke around a bit more now...:) One question: Can I add another one of our admins to get access to this site?
  15. Rep Game: BF2 Clantag: =SoE=
  16. Not quite set up to stream yet...but can someone tell me why I am getting this from one of our players? It happens every SS...any ideas?
  17. Ok...so I have the banlist. However, bf2cc expects the banlist to be in XML format in order to import it. Suggestions?
  18. Ok, I'm sure I'm just missing it somewhere.... But how/where would I get the current banlist? Do I need to get our server streaming before I can get this? I am looking into doing just that...so if that's the case ... I just can't find anywhere that has that info. Like I said, I'm prolly just looking in the wrong places... Thx
