So how do I know if someone is cheating in the game!

Hi Everyone I was just going through the list of ban's cheater's on 2142, and I noticed a section with the Hacks.Cheats,Tools used. Were can I find out what they mean and what effects they have with in the game. (don't worry I wont use them ;) , I would rather die like a man, than cheat) :D
