Nothing guys? At least someone tell me that it's not possible, if it's not...

I was wondering if it was possible to run Battlefield 2 through Steam so that I could play using the Steam friends/community/chat overlay. Right now when I try to start it through Steam, it runs fine but when I join a server I get kicked for having a "Disallowed Program/Driver" Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this? If not, that's fine, it would just be preferred so that I could talk to my Steam friends in BF2 also :) Thanks for any help!
