Well in this admin's mind, he believes, players that he has banned previously have come back under other names. Consequently he has innocent players banned without a shred of proof, believing that they are the same players that he had banned previously. he is convinced that people go around with these keygens, turn on their hacks and just generate a new key when that one gets banned.

Well, I did google it and skimmed the hits, as I'd rather not go into the actual sites themselves, and deduced from what information I did see that no such thing exists. I didn't find anyone actually selling a key generator, legitimate or otherwise, but you can bet I'd be the last person to spend my money on it. :D ...and long as we're on the subject, what's the stupidest excuse you've ever heard from an admin just to ban someone? :unsure:

I am an admin for a couple of servers that I co-admin with a few others, and one of them claims that there is/are keygenerator(s) program(s) out there that generate legitimate keys. I understand that pirated copies of the game come with a keygenerator, but that once applied the software only runs on "cracked" servers. I believe this admins claim is preposterous and that he is over his head. He also claims that you can buy one of these generators for $100. I thought I'd follow up on this anyway, no matter how outlandish it sounds. I also figured this would be the place to ask, because, as I'm sure, if someone got wind of this it would be all over the CoD4 community, especially this place. I'd rather not go out and see if I can find one of these myself.
