I tried what you said, but not with SpeedFan, my motherboard comes with a program that you can speed things up... and tried that, also had the latest drives for my video card too... wasn't working. Vista is alright :) if you run vista with low requirements of course people say it sucks :P

Hmm, did a new fresh install of windows vista ultimate 64bit, and everything seems to be working fine. Thank you all for all the help

I'm sorry forgot to post that... Game = Call of duty 4 Patch = 1.7 OS = Windows XP Pro Sp3 CPU: AMD PhenomX4 Memory: 4GB Video Card: 8500GT I just reformatted, so I don't think it's adwares or viruses.... LMAO, I am about to use a hammer, not a bad choice ;)

Hi all, Was wondering if anyone can help me! Lately when I open up the game, it just straight freezes and I can't do anything... I have to shut down the PC and try again but it just keeps freezing... some times I can get to play one game or two... but as soon as the map is loading it freezes again... Anyone know what can I do to be able to play once again!? Thanks
