You do realise that even if PBBans took all those bans off the MBi then you'd still NOT be able to play on a PB server as you'd keep getting kicked for the violation by PB. PBBans just makes the kick a ban, but either way you'll not be able to play on PB enabled servers which equals 99% of them. The ban will only be rescinded by EvenBalance. There is nothing that PBBans, GGC or anyone else can do.

Well seeing as we don't see that part of the process (how could we), we're only seeing half the story, but going by the forums (which is our only source), it seems that the people with "issues" are approaching it in a better manner than most times we've see.

What seems odd about these bans is the amount of people who are fighting their corner in a mature and sensible manner. The normal "F*ck you I no Hax" brigade don't seem to be prevalent on this one. My gut feeling is that something is wrong and not 100% definite hacking. I hope EB look into this in more depth as I can imagine nothing worse than being accused of doing something you haven't, especially with the option of Cross Game banning. The collateral damage could possibly be high on this and that makes me wonder..... Are EB sticking to their guns even though they suspect things might not be so water tight with the bans ,as they don't want another climb down over another ban wave?

Evenbalance rarely divulge what their codes actually relate too so we're in the dark as much as you are. Any 3rd-party ban site, such as PBBans (this one) , GGC or AC I has to take the violations that PB comes up with at face value and even though they aren't privy to the reason behind the ban, they just enforce it and add it to the Master Ban Index (MBi) which streams to all streaming servers. I feel for you, especially if there's a wrong doing as there can be nothing worse than being accused when innocent, but we're just protecting our servers by going by what the employed anti-cheat (PB) says.

I honestly don't think we will see any more server providers added to the list. There's a lot of money involved in being a host and I expect it cost a pretty penny to be on that list as well.

Nothing else to say, all the rest was waffle and guff.

Excellent. Enabled PB (medium) ran the Automated Streaming Setup & issued pb_sv_update in the Web Admin for good measure. Fingers crossed it'll stream ok.

Can't wait to get our server up & running & streaming. Hopefully it'll be a breath of fresh air after the painful game of MW2. Good work PBBans :)
