Back to you, for good news ! Support team from my server provider say punkbuster installation was not install correctly (don't ask me wich kind of problem it was ? they don't tell me) . So now : > punkbuster log file are created and available from provider web console > command are now really executed and result is shown result for pb_sv_ver is : AND I've just seen pbbans server status and IT IS STREAMED !!! since 1 minutes ! Thank you all the pbbans staff and other who has spend some times to help us ! Finally it was a problem with our server provider's setup ! See you on our battlefield server ;)!

Hi Fozzer, I've just open yesterday a ticket with my server provider, in order to reset file config and other stuff we can not access or manage regarding punkbuster on our server... waiting on feedback.... We will follow your steps as soon we get some positive feedback, then I'll post one again here in order to give you the status. For your last link, it gives me this message Probably an issue regarding habilitation and rights.

IS this in relation of some parts of our pbsv.cfg contains ?

Yes, but I've notice something (in red), no result return (like for guardian) and finally it does nothing !!! don't you have any idea in order to turn on result return !? here the return But once again, command via guardian does not work at all ! even if I receive an 'ok' instead of this error message. There ais no result of execution like command finally not execute ! Here a summary of action in order to keep in mind a clear view of situation : > punkbuster server option : ON - ok > pbbans automated setup tools : 195.72.154.42:19680 (rcon port) - no error but does not really write in pbsv.cfg file - nok > creation of 2 file via web tools from our provider : ok > pbsv.cfg file : exist with pbbans command (from pbbans tutorial - see code in this topics) - ok > pbucon.use : exist but empty - ok > no log file available on server - ? > guardian punkbuster command (version of 09/04/2010) : does not work (no echo of command) - nok > pbbans account server : 195.72.154.42:19580 (join port) - ok > pbbans server status : Inactive - nok Any other idea why rcon command on guardian does not works ?

Yes Pisi, Already tried about ten times, but rcon command within guardian does not seem to work (like via 'automated hub setup' - no error but no effect) let me show you via this attached screenshot ! Well you can see that command is recognized (OK) but don't send any feedback from command like '-> PunkBuster server....' !? and as I say before even if I make all those command via guardian, there is no effect at all on for exemple pbucon.use or pbsv.cfg files when I look up trough web admin tools form Eliotness provider !? Any other advice !? yes punkbuster option on server is activated ! ;) Yes guardian works for kicking, changing maps, etc... but no effect on punkbuster command ! Is there others things to do, to enabled punkbuster commands ? on server ? Another question, do we have to create some log file in order that punkbuster can write in it ? or any other file for punkbuster ? We are lost !

Ooops, yes when I recreate the server it takes autocompletion for the port then RCON port Thank you guys ! I've just delete contains of pbucon.use, file still remains. Ont he other hand, in tutorial for streaming it is writed : SO I assume pbucon.use contains also those informations :scratchchin: So now it is empty ! Once again many thanks ! waiting on streaming report now ;)

yes, it is set by default and we won't change it (It is set in the printscreen attached to the first post). Then could you check if settings are correct in the pbsv file we have post before. If it is not correct then can you give us the code we have to put in pbsv file then we will write manually. So in this case streaming should works !?

Already done, you have the screenshot on my first post but anyway I'll retry once again and put it here... BUT when I edit just after that the pbsv.cfg from my server (via web admin tools) pbsv file does not change and look like

Server still return in inactive mode even after changing rcon port for join port in server account for our team account. No more information ? here find the pbsv.cfg contents : and pbucon.use is empty !? mlast time we put some information with in !?

Hi, We've got some trouble to stream our BFBC2 team server (check our account for IP reference). There are different tutorial regarding config file (some with only one cfg file and one *.use and some with several *.cfg and without *.use), we follow your tutorial and set up with pbsv.cfg and pbucon.use but we do it : > without guardian via punkbuster command because it does not work (no echo of our command and no effect on file) > we manage cfg and use file directly with our server provider web console. We also use your 'automated Hub setup' but it seem's to have no effect on pbsv.cfg file when we look after on our server !? even if there are no error log on our 'automated Hub setup'. We do not know how to check if pbbans configuration is up and running on the server after restart. We set up reference and description of our server on our account. It comes with 'pending admin approval' but now it is 'inactive'. No way to know why ! Need help. On other cfg file (at this time we do not use), it is about some Clan ID reference ! is it equal to Account ID ? Eternity from FrTrpl team.
