Registration will close: October 25th, 2009 This event will start on: October 26th, 2009 Tournament Overview This 1v1 Pistols and Knives ONLY tournament will consist of players competing against each other using the GWL ruleset with the OpenWarfare Mod. The winner is the first player to 100 points with a 30 minute time limit. No Perks, No HUD, and no weapons except pistols and knives. No excuses. The format for this tournament will be single elimination, winner takes all. A qualifier round will be conducted to determine seating and who makes it into the first official round. Any player may join. The winner of this tournament will receive a Steel Series Merc Stealth Gaming Keyboard SteelSeries Z Engine enables programmability of all keys Pre-defined profiles for more than 150 games 3 color illumination options: blue, purple and red Internal hub with 2 USB ports Anti-ghosting capability: Up to 7 simultaneous keystrokes Special gaming key area Rubberized movement keys for enhanced tactile feedback (More Info at Steel Series) Global Warfighter CoD4 - 1v1 Pistols and Knives Tournament Page Tournament Registration Sign Up To register for the GWL CoD4 1v1 Pistol and Knives Tournament, any player can go to their GWL "Player Profile" page and click the button and select the CoD4 1v1 Pistol and Knives Tournament (plz make sure you have CoD4 selected in your GWL player profile or you won't see CoD4 competition listed as eligible to join). Players can also join by clicking the button above. All players must have a registered CoD4 PB GUID at GWL. Players can manage their player CoD4 PB GUID through their player profile page via following the procedure dictated in the GWL CoD4 Game Rules. Tournament Rules Rules for the tournament beyond the overview description above can be accessed via the button on the tournament page linked above or just click HERE. Tournament Maps The maps included in the GWL random map generator for all rounds in this tournament can be found HERE. Maps randomly generated for any round will stand as the map to play for ALL players in the round and is non-negotiable. Legal stuff If you are under the age of 18, you must have legal guardian or parental consent before participating in this Global Warfighter event. By registering, you hereby affirm that you are 18 or older, or that you have received legal guardian or parental consent to participate in this event. A minimum of 32 players in tournament's Round 1 is required for this tournament to qualify for the prize award. Tournament open to North American residents only. In order to receive any prize package, event winner must disclose personal address and e-mail information to Global Warfighter staff when requested. This information will only be used for prize shipments. Cheating, submitting FALSE registration information and/or using multiple accounts will forfeit any winnings.
