Hi @ll

I started playing bc2 a week ago and in some forums i got the hint to change the field of view for better sight. Is there any fear of getting banned for changing this setting?

Nope, changing the FOV will not get you banned... :)

DICE added the feature because it was one of he most requested ones.

Besides, a changed FOV is not detectable by any means I'm aware of. :P

Thanks a lot for the quick response.

Which brings me to my second question (don't want to open another thread for this, guess it's the right group anyways ;)):

How do i recognize servers with PB turned on?

Because sometimes when i filter gameservers (i always check all the boxes, for the settings: not full, no pw, etc.) for PB only servers, whilst connecting, the settings displayed from the server are suddenly showing PB turned off?

Does the in-game filter method not work properly or why is this sometimes happening? How can you be sure to play on a PB protected server?

The server browser's PB filter is broken... It does the reverse of what it's supposed to do. When turned on, it only lists servers with PB off. :D

What I do is I check the server info for PB's status before joining. ^^

thnx, I was expecting something like this ...

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't ...

But how do you check the PB status before joining? Is there a button that displays the server info? (sry for that question, but I only double-click on them)

Click the arrow about in the middle of the row... it will bring up 3(or was it 2...) options... one of them is adding to favorites, another is Server Info. That's the one you're looking for ;)

Nice thank you :)

then it's just a matter of time until the server browser really works like in bf2 and i don't get so many not connected to EA server messages ^^
