Not dying... bug or cheat

Hi,

We had a player on our server who couldnt be killed.

After a while he left the game and rejoined, then he could be killed again.

That moment 1 of my admins banned him.

 

Now he's claiming that this is a bug in CoD4 and this was the reason to disconnect/rejoin the server. My admin didnt get a demo :(

 

Is this a known CoD4 bug?

You sure your server wasn't set in Dev Mode?

Server isnt set to developer mode. Yep maybe im streaming in the future. For now im updating the banlist manually.

 

So this is a cheat or bug for Cod4?

I have heard of a few bugs like this. Here are the bugs that I have heard of but I have no clue on how to reproduce them. I would rather think of these as game exploits and is a bannable offense on my servers.

 

- Player gets shot and seems to die but no one gets credit for the kill. Said player also seems to unlimited uav/airstrike/heli

- The player model becomes invisable until he does get killed.

- Player can not be killed. even if 5 people shoot him in the head at once.

- Player seems to have unlimited airstrikes even though he has a score something like 10-50

 

I am pretty sure all of the above have been reported to IW. Still yet you should get your servers streaming :)
