Cheesy_Cow
I found a program that fixes widescreen properly for bf2. I remember some people back in the day got issued pbbans for using this tool. The creator says its punkbuster approved but I want to make sure before I use it. Thanks. http://imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/
Big_Guy21
evenbalance is going to be the only one that can tell you that: http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/new_ticket.php
learjet45dream
plus 1.5 will add widescreen support IIRC
MaydaX
Widescreen Fixer v1.32 is punkbuster safe as the author had evenbalance check it out before releasing.
Cheesy_Cow
I put in a ticket last night and got a response from EB today. They said the program is legal. The creator of the program says 1.32 is the best version to use. http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/u...sage=new_ticket

Lluuu
you don't neccessarily need a widescreen fixer. Create a new shortcut to the BF2.exe on your desktop and put this in target: [game directory]\BF2.exe +menu 1.15 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200 (for 24") [game directory]\BF2.exe +menu 1.15 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 (for 22") it's almost as good as the widescreen fixer. The only effect you get that the screen is slightly cut off at the top and bottom. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.

That doesn't fix for wide screen, that crops it out severely reducing the field of view (or FOV). Here's an example of what I'm talking about: Cropped: http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/nat...a6ace78fec4.png Fixed: http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/nat...1c4c7d6bbba.png As you can see, much more on the sides is visible when the game is actually fixed for wide screen and not just cropped using the properties line. (screens are fannies)
