Not in my opinion, the cvar is supported by any game using punkbuster. They don't need to have a comment either in the file for what game the team account is streaming, it is not relevant. Your clan members can play on other servers at other games as well using there clan tag. Search at http://ssl.evenbalance.com/regname_search.php after your tag and it does not tell us that you only use it on cod4 If I use this file, I use it without removing your clan tag from the list when uploaded to a bf2 server or any other PB enabled game server. I only add a personal list of tags to this one.

You're not talking about the "Join Greeting" message configured at the server? If one configured such greeting with your old name and the server you login too enabled the greetings from pbbans hub, you see the old name if that was typed out as such in the greeting.

I am satisfied with how pbbans operates and how we can use it. Easy to find info and once having a team account it goes all almost automated from there. Perhaps having the ability to add an custom profile field at the forum to be able and add our registered name and/or clan tag. Pretty much the same as adding your x-fire username or server IP/Port. But then generate a downloadable list of all those names/tags so a GSA could use it if desired. Thought it isn't realy an addition to catch/report cheaters but more like an added service. The questions made me wonder what could be changed and realy need to think about that. Just to conclude that nothing have to be changed :)

If you just now or after the 28th december last year started to stream your server to pbbans.com and the demo is from before that, it wont be added to the MBL. It's still a good thing to issue a local ban thought. And of course you can still share the demo with those who are interested for a local ban on there servers. Sorry to hear .... better stay away from those digital delivery's. I have heared that particilar cod4 had this problem with digital delivery. I think you could better submit a support ticket at evenbalance.com: http://evenbalance.com/troubleticket/new_t...t.php?game=cod4 Explain your situation and mention the digital download .... they have gotten plenty of those support tickets already. PS: Make sure to patch your game with the files distributed by your vendor. It's different then the regular DVD games I believe.

You can open your ingame console to issue rcon commands (shift + tilde (~) key).I don't think their are mods available yet for ingame clickable menu's to issue rcon commands.

You find the pb folder inside the game folder on your server.You do not add any folder <_< But inside your pb folder you will likely find a file called pbsv.cfg which you want to edit using your notepad or wordpad (download the file if needed and upload it after you have editted the file when needed, if it is a remote server). Once you opened the pbsv.cfg file, scroll down and add a new line to read: pb_sv_load servermsg.cfg Save and close the file and put it back into your pb folder. If you are on linux and just have updated from v1.3 to 1.4, you may have forgotten to upload iw_12.iwd in your main folder of the main installation of your game? Quote you console error here perhaps for a better debug on this issue?

Source: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=faq-cod4.php I do not use full installs but 1 main installation (depends per game but it does well for cod4). Each user has his own homepath with his own config files and pb folder. He can add custom content to his own main or mods folder.

I realize that this is an old topic by now but just read an hour and half at the official forum and found it hard to notice some possitive feedback about this game (multiplayer). They don't have dedicated server files available and honestly, after reading the official forums, I don't expect much of it. I'll focus on CoD4, Crysis or even ET:QW before getting into MoH:Airborne after reading their forums ....

I think that PBBans.com does a wonderful job and I do see the admins/moderators being very helpfull and quick with replies to all. But I do have an issue with the general website for some time by now. Lately I can't use any search feature on the main website, it all returns to the same preview of the index that looks like to be missing the right (main) section. I only see the left menu centered on my screen .... At first I thought it may be due some work in progress or updating the website or eventually my browser/cache. But it's the same on any browser and clearing my coockies/cache does not help. If I am the only one, I may take a screen shot to show what I mean. Basically, what's going on with your website? :huh:

Duplicate key is not the real issue, it's an issue once the key is used to cheat at an streaming server. That will eliminate all users with this new GUID to play on any streaming server. I dont have any statics about current sales but my guess is that the game is not sold that much anymore. I would say, this is what Activition does to their new customers for this game but I would leave the system as it is. Also in the hope the game isn't sold that much anymore so it won't affect too much new players. The database of all current players is just too big to just drop the whole streaming support ..... unless PB drops their support for this game. At each reply that Activition gives I have the feeling they go around the issue. They answer things that is not being asked. Sure, we knew already :wacko: We already had control whether to ban or not for duplicate guid's ..... the issue is about fighting cheaters :wacko: Let us watch their next actions (will Call of Duty be the next game?).

I guess you mean something like "View my bans" which could be done by an search after "Server tag" but then resulting into an list of all games instead of an specific game. It would be nice :)

As far I know this file is useless when its not on the server pc IF the server is set to be pure (sv_pure 1)? Keeping your server clean starts with an pure server I think.

lol, It was you who created the team account for me <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But sharing an streaming server between two accounts (or just an self managed transfer to another account) was an feature request, so it would be nice if possible and no big deal if such needs to be done by request either. I would just need to delete server so the new user can register here and follow the regular procedures to add his server. No rush at all ;)

Currently I am already an happy member with an team account but nothing on the forum refers to the team account.I just hope you can easily see on your side who to downgrade once you feel the need to downgrade SGA group members :huh: I also wish to add an feature request :rolleyes: It could be nice if we were able to attach one of the server in our team account to another member (or simply transfer to). Currently I will be streaming any new pb enabled server by default. But since I rent servers, the game admin may want to have his own account to be recognized as an streaming game server admin. They are notified of the streaming status and directed to this website to gather all information about PBBans.com. Basically they have three options: Leave it as it is Remove its streaming feature Create their own account here and get their server to stream using their own account
