Well ... there is some time since PB fucked up WindowBlinds, and i tryed to enable it again few days ago (since i paid for it). Guess what ? Still not fixed ... great ! So i opened another troubleticket, but i'd like to know if anyone else was still having that issue.

This is not a warning, this is a pbban. The server detected a cheat file (MD5TOOL) on the player's game folder. You may find this player on the banlist if the server was streaming.

When i saw the amount of bans i wondered if it was a new "attack". Anyway another point for anti-pb people. I know you don't make an "omelette" without breaking eggs ... but -.- 666 bans it must be 3v1l !! :blink:

- I had to reinstall ET, so i had a "new fresh PB folder" - Since reinstall I experienced the "Failed to resolve etguidauth.evenbalance.com" - I nearly tryed all solutions provided and it seems only 1 work properly. 1) Delete pbns.dat ...ET/pb/ folder. *) Problem is when you connect PB doesn't give a new file ... 2) Download pbns.dat (Link Posted here & above & paste it in the ...ET/pb/ folder. Done.

1 => i get some issues with Opera on my laptop (can login to forums but i can't get to MPI by deleting the url in adress area). Firefox works perfect with website. 2=> when i came here for 1st time the website was like a jungle to me, maybe tutorials are more accessible now. 3=> 1st time set up streaming was amazing but with right infos and only 1 admin managing the server it may go faster. 4=> Ideas of gadgets : - Let us insert custom background to pbbans signatures. - A rss widget (nice graphically) displaying the bans on our game with a special icon when new ban on your servers (only for vista if i remember well). Don't forget linux ^^. Your strong point => Fucking good support here with people knowing what they are talking about. I just wonder how PsB detect cheaters with their config. Like i read there, the CVAR & MD5 check take a certain time (all depends how is set your pulse setting). So just look at the PsB cvarlist ... it's amazing how some are useless and how long is the list (a cheater can play a whole night without being checked if he is lucky). So maybe PsB is providing good services (even if it's not my own opinion), but I would say PbBans config is way more efficient (exemple : why checking for cheat cvars 3 years old if it's on the pb multihack violations ?). My few cents are : do what you want, try, experiment and make your own opinion.

I guess how it works but I would know : These messages will display on my Team Servers or on all streamed servers ?

Hey, i'm glad to be here but sorry i am lost in this jungle website. Streaming is on @ our servers (need to install anticheat tools now). My question is : How to update config (cvar / MD5) ? - JPAT is only for rep or for hub too ? - How to enable autoupdates ? - is there a way to create our own settings (lodcurveeror, maxFPS, maxpackets, etc ...) without any change @ updates ? thx for replies.

Thanks a lot that's more clear now. Ok i could enable the streaming with Rcon, but without a decent server config ... I doubt it should be useful. In order to get Jpat we need special registration or where to find the download ? I explain, i would put a good pb config 1st, but it seems you recommend to test the streaming connection 1st. Right ? And last but not least, i was given some "links" I would show to pbban. Who should i contact or where to post ?

Hey guys. I was reading some infos about streaming a server. Here are some questions : - Can we stream some servers with same IPs but different ports ? (seems noobish but had some problems with online browsers). - How works the pbsv file updates ? I mean how do we get updates of the cvars & MD5 new signatures ? - What do we need to install for auto update (you call it HUB if i understood well) ? - Can you link some topics (try to gather clear and ready to use infos for server admin) ?
