I was unaware of the alarm command :rolleyes: ; I haven't used IRC very much, and I think I understand now that folks stay logged in for long periods of time, but are not necessarily FOCUSED on it (running in the backround). This grumpy and impatient admin apologizes whole-heartedly, and thanks SO SO much for those admins and staff helping me out with technical issues/questions on a daily basis! The IRC channel is becoming a wonderful tool, if I can just learn the patience! Thanks for all your hard work, you guys kick butt! :lol: [TaS]Synergy

Sry to be confused. Why shouldn't we post the sites of known hax? Does this encourage or tempt ppl too much? And if so, doesn't that fly in the face of the purpose of posting our knowledge and information in these forums? Also, I see that the hax sites were removed - do I need to RESEND them to you? Seems a bit redundant to remove them and have me send them to you again... KISS

More disturbing yet, here are links to 2 major hack sites that BLATANTLY advertise their programs' inability to be caught by PB. They wave a flag that claims that ALL of their hax are undectable. 1.) Can PB use these to add variables to their library of known hacks? 2.) Can PB actively participate in getting these sites shut down? (prolly not - free speech and all) HAX SITES: Remove by admin.

I must comment - There is HARDLY ever any response to my questions/tech. problems in the PBBANS IRC channel... Once, out of about ten tries, was I able to reach anyone. There are constantly 20 - 30 ppl logged into the channel, and I can see them talk amongst themselves about random topics, but as SOON as I mention anything PB related, the chatter stops, and it almost feels like my question is avoided. Much props to Benway, btw, who has been the ONLY person thus far to assist me in IRC. I understand that admins/staff are not always just staring at their IRC chat windows, but I assumed that the channel was for technical support, which I haven't really received.

The admins have been extremely helpful in forums and pm's whenever I have probs. The guides posted here and instructions/manuals/etc. for setting up / streaming to PunkBuster are superb. I am an RTCW:ET server admin, and as you can see by the number of haxxors there :0, PunkBuster is my friend, and I applaud you all! Thanks much! ps - Tried to use the IRC chat for pbbans when i had issues, not real helpful, I must say, considering the amount of persons logged on at the time. IRC is the bastard chat, i kno, but what a great resource for tech. supp.! I'll put that in the comment box :D!
