They can afford to ignore it because they will sell millions of copies of the game for consoles.
~2,000,000 console titles * 60.00 = 120,000,000 -- they'll probably sell more than 2 million console copies though.
~150,000 pc titles * 60.00 = 9,000,000 -- just a rough estimate of the number of PC copies -- might be more might be less... but we get the picture.
We're a very small piece of the pie. Part of that small piece of the pie are the PC user's who don't really have a clue about dedicated servers and leagues and competition, so they'll get many PC sales that way which will only make our small piece of pie even smaller.
That said, /signed -- although I fear it won't make any difference, unfortunately.
