To set the server greeting goto http://www.pbbans.com/account/server.php Click the Modify link for a server then enter a message under Join Greeting The GUID is used for hub personal greetngs but we also use it for verification purposes.

I played it for a bit, but I don't like the gameplay at all and it runs like crap on my 8800GTS / C2D E6600. I've been looking at cod5 and that looks far more interesting.

did you try removing other cc users and setting a complex password on the default admin account? Also change the rcon one as well as that is often one that gets abused when discovered. Ask your GSP to change the demon ports to a a non standard value if possible.

I don't see any servers attached to your account, Sounds like you had Allow Hub Greetings enabled which sends messages from anyone who has a message enabled. Only you or anyone with rcon or PBUCON can issue local bans. You may want to check your ucon user list by using pb_sv_uconlist in rcon. You can check the PB logs as it logs all UCON commands sent by every ucon user. It should show the following If you only stream to PBBans (psb doesn't use ucon) then the list should look like the above.

Due to recent events security for streamig servers has been increased greatly. Server IPs are ran though the MPI now as part of the verification process.

Doubt it will ever be fixed in either game tbh. Guess it comes down to the rep works since the server sends data to the streaming site. Guess Cryteks "partner" is all they care about :)

On Friday, Sept 26, 2008 around 3PM EST our servers will be offline for a brief period to move them to a bigger cabinet in preperation for our newest server (which arrived today). During this outage all PBBans services will be offline. We plan to have our new server operational by the end of the weekend or early next week providing no issues occur. Update #1 Servers moved ahead of schedule and seem to be working fine. All services are back online and the new server is connected and being configured. Update #2 Main database is now running on the new server. MPI db will be rebuilt in the next few days. Update #3 MPI db has been rebuilt and all MPI queries are live again.

UCON is still broke for it when a server is empty so I guess it was the ol copy / paste for the server department. So anyone adding a server for Crysis Wars will have the same issues as Crysis. It's been almost a year, 2 games later and they still can't get it right Least some developers know how to properly code PB into a game like Infinity Ward, id software ,etc.

Well I can't tell if streaming in crysis wars works as I can't find the files to run a server. But from what I see they are using the same PB files as the original but the problem was always in the server and not PB so who knows. With the DRM protection they used (cracked in one day btw :P ) a number of people are avoiding it. Amazon is down to 1.5 / 5 stars now and most negitive reviews are over the DRM they used.

25 Enemy Territory Bans have been removed from the MBI and unban commands sent out for hub streaming servers on Sept 16, 2008.

I will just say this, if members at PBBans wish to display sigs from most other ac sites it's OK here 1st step in cheat prevention is awareness :) Please remember it's PsB policy and it's their choice to enforce it as they see fit.

To gain access to the private areas at least one server must be streaming. Support is offered to anyone who seeks it.

Signatures are available to streaming members from the account manager

Those settings are for the repository which pbbans no longer uses. Changing those settings will not stop streaming here but will stop streaming to psb
