Noticed on Account Management page Streaming Status - Team is not streaming yet under server management all of our servers are streaming. FWIW

Must be why new threads and old threads look the same. Old forum the new threads or threads with new posts were bold in the thread list, old threads were not. Now they are the same (not bold). Hard to tell new threads/posts from old. /sad p.s. can you change the edit time to say 2 or 3 mins before it says "this post has been edited by xxx at x:xx"?

Shucks, that's not really what I had in mind. I thought maybe you were using the downloadable version of the MBi to see if a player has a prior ban. I wasn't sure what you were using to database guids and aliases. Would be nice if we had a downloadable version of the MPi so we could have a program like yours that has all players names in it as well as any bans they might have. That way a program can run in the background, and when a player with a ban comes in, a sound goes off, kind of the way the old Raycaster name hacker worked. Guys you catch on your server but who have not been banned by punkbuster could then be added manually and shared. I really wish pbbans could implement something like this in the Hub Live.

I'm trying it out now while in our server. Once I hit F12 and get the player list I then click on a player name and it pops up with ATTENTION: CAN'T FIND GUID/PLAYER Possible cause: Player not in database yet. Error Code: 6 I have always wanted a way to quickly check to see if there are suspected or confirmed cheaters in our server without having to go to Hub Live or MPi. This seems like the right tool if I can get it to work properly. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Vista 64 bit home. Adding some screenshots

I wish they could actually be SGAs for a month to see how invaluable pbbans is to the gaming community. Maybe then they could appreciate more what this place means to the gaming community. I know all games will be hacked but I can't help but believe that streaming is a huge deterrent. I only wish they realized that. Hackers realize the power of streaming, that's why they try to DDoS this place. Once *some* people realize there is no real consequence to cheating what's to stop them? If DICE knew what we knew then perhaps they would work on a solution that works for every one. Not sure I will buy the game, at least not straight away. I never bought MW2 and have not regretted it. I can remember going into one of my favorite COD4 servers not long after MW2 was released and noticed some regs/admins saying they saw people they knew from COD4 cheating in MW2. I guess with no MPI/MBI/streaming some of those once honest players had no reason to stay honest. Pity.

Yeah, he's an emotional cripple. I was in his squad just today when he screamed "GET TO SQ NOW YOU (*&^^%$^%$*" and then kicked me and two others. I came back and said "dude I had 3 ppl in front of me, I couldn't rush off to Square." That sent him into a profane rage so I left.

That's not what I am talking about. If I put in a clean players name it tells me "Clean GUID(s)" 1 result(s) found public access can not view clean players But occasionally when I put in someone's name it sayd No results found. Here's a pic. I find it odd that someone with over 150,000 pts is not in the MPi.

That's exactly what I thought but I just wanted to make sure. p.s. anyone know why when I use the MPI and type in someone's name exactly the MPI will return no results? I'm talking Colonels with 150,000 points, not someone who's never played before. Happened to me twice tonight.

I was with an admin the other day about a suspected hacker. He said the guy has 3 guids. He said hackers tend to have a lot of guids because they have to change keys all the time after getting banned. Anyway, I said maybe the guy played at a couple of friends' house, on their guid. He said that when you log into YOUR account BF2 will use your guid no matter what computer you are on. Is that true? I am skeptical because I used to play with this guy who was from Canada and he said he played at internet cafes. He had 5 different guids the last time I checked. I am not discounting the notion that hackers have multiple guids only that when you log into your account on someone else's game key it will use YOUR guid.

Yesterday I was playing on a Karkand IO server as commander. Just as the round ended I came out of commander screen and saw that my normal screen had no fog. I was shocked to say the least. I took a screencapture. When the next round started I still had the no fog and I was stuck at my spawn point and could not move. Of course I quit the game. When I restarted my game all was well again.
