Yeah right, EA will really listen. Hell if all the servers who say they will participate actually do, the EA servers will probably run smoother for the game servers who don't participate.

Odd that they don't complain that one of the teams is Chinese and focus on 4 maps instead.

It is about time that software companies are held accountable for some of the crap they release. EA did not learn a thing from their BF3 release debacle. I think it would be great if they were forced to refund the purchase price of the game, including premium membership, no matter who the buyer bought the game from.

If you want answers from PBBans, you need to provide answers to their questions. You have been asked twice for your ingame name. It is not Svengik because that account has never been used according to bf4stats.com.

If it is a PB kick that is turned into a ban here, where does he appeal? EB or here? Or should he wait a bit in the hopes of a false positive determination?

The admin in my clan also recently built a new computer and downloaded new drivers. He also mention that he has a virus that pops up there 2 or 3 days that tries to extort money from him with a "we'll deactivate this if you pay us $300" pop up screen. BTW, if this is a punkbuster violation, why is the ban not global?. The ban in my clan clearly says he is not globally banned by Even Balance.

One of my admins was playing BF4 today and was also kicked for this game hack BUT, the ban came from PBBans, not evenbalance.

With all the server side problems, I doubt that EA/Dice really want to introduce any new GSP's into the mix until they get things a little more settled out. I am beginning to think that maybe why the initial list of GSP's was so small. It is easier to troubleshoot the problems of a few servers that are setup similarly rather than trying to figure out what is happening to many servers if they are all setup differently.

That very thing happened a couple of days after BF3 was released, a mass ban wave. :D

PB is only going to work if it recognizes the hack. New hacks take a while to make it into the PB system.

New patch broke it for me. When I get killed, the screen no longer switches to the spawn screen, it gets stuck on the killer view. I have to hit escape, then resume to get the spawn screen to come up.

They almost have to, between the reduced approved server host list and the fact that it has been almost unplayable for many, there are too many people threatening to cancel pre-orders.

I sure hope the fix the cpu loading issues in the final release.

That is odd. About 2 weeks ago, EOReality told us they were prohibited from talking about RSP for BF4 but, would notify us when they server pre-orders were available. We have heard nothing from them since then.

We don't allow any firing into uncaps unless someone is firing out. If someone is shooting out, and you decide to return fire, you'd better be sure who you are shooting at because if you kill the wrong enemy you are considered to be base raping and will be punished accordingly. How I handle it is, after a yell warning, to spawn in the uncap and immediately turn my back to the battlefield in a visible spot. If I get killed, I issue a kill command to the offender. A kick will be on the next offense, tban (normally for 1 hour) for the forth. If, after their ban expires, they are dumb enough to do it again after all of that a Pban is given.

Been following it and have installed it on my server. I still hope the fix the issue at the source so we don't have to rely on 3rd party rcon plugins.

I just hope they fix the GUID issue. If they don't it is going to be a hacker fest, and an admin nightmare.
