MaxKnots Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 Far Cry 2 doesn't have a config option to select a specific port that I am aware of after an exstensive search. The player match servers seem to take a port starting at or near 9000. Then each following server increases 2 or 3 ports and the server stays on that port until restarted. The ranked match servers are even more difficult. They seem to restart after some matches during the score uploads to Ubisoft and then restart on a new port. I can see several solutions to this problem which I will list in order of which would work best for us. 1. Not have a specific port. 206.123.95.90 is our IP address any punkbuster streaming from port 9XXX is one of our Far Cry 2 games. 2. Have a block of ports 9000-9099. Once again any streaming on one of those ports is one of our games. 3. Assign us a smaller block 9000-9050. 4. If that's still to many 9000-9025. 5. Can I add 25 servers starting at 9000- 9025?
