in the starter guide, it lists several admin tools that you need in order to be able to stream. procon is not listed as one of these.

I don't see anything in the starter guide saying you require tools.

 

Anyway, the minimum you need to get a server configured to stream is an rcon tool for that game that supports sending user-inputted commands. ^^

Therefore, procon is fine. ;)

Added ProCon to the Hub Guide and will be the recommended RCON tool for BC2 as BC2Guardian is disabling functions based on if the server is ranked.

 

I am a firm believer that all functions should be available regardless of rank settings. Server admins don't need to be babysat and it should be the admins choice to use any rcon tool features.

 

Mainly referring to BC2Guardians choice to disable the following if the server is ranked:

 

Added - [R13 >]Soldier Kit/Class limiter (Automation tab)

Added - [R13 >]Weapon limiter (Automation tab)
