Service Communication Failure: Pnkbstra.exe

Hi,

Since the latest update (I think) I'm unable to play on a PunkBuster enabled game. Everything was working great up until a few days back.

 

Now everytime I attempt to enter a ranked/PunkBuster enabled game I get booted and see the following message: Service Communication Failure: PnkbstrA.exe

 

I've searched the forums and tried:

 

Downloading Pbsetup and Pbsvc

uninstalling/reinstalling

running test (all ok)

Running as administrator

Allowing through WIN7 firewall

Allowing through Mcafee firewall

Updating

 

So far no luck.

 

I'm running WIN7 32bit

 

Any ideas?

Tried disabling all other programs you have running (AV etc)? If the kicks stop, start booting them up again one by one until you find the cause.
