{AW}Cptkook
My server is streaming according to the AccCP, I am receiving bans from the MBI and annoucements. But I noticed that I have to manually update the PBSVUser.cfg, and we did not recieve any of the ban removals from Dec 1st, 2010 from http://www.pbbans.com/forums/viol-132110-132352-and-132322-bans-removed-bc2-t133556.html. Any one have any idea what might be wrong with my setup? ~Jeff
HSMagnet
Setting your pbucon to profile 1 does allow rcon commands to be sent to your server. This is how the PBBans Hub sends live bans to your server. No admin has any control of this feature and only the web services and systems of PBBans such as the hub and rep have access to this. The only commands that are sent to a server using profile 1 are PB related commands such as ban and unban commands, greeting messages (if enabled), pb ver (heartbeat), and pb update. Our system will not modify any settings on your server at any time. Should you not want any commands being sent to your server please use profile 0 like the below example: PB_SV_UConAdd 0 208.122.49.138 pbbhub1 pbbanshub Using profile 0 will stop all commands from being sent to your server. Thus live banning and other enhanced features will be disabled. (profile 1 is the default profile for PBBans Hub streaming) http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html the naught in the pb_sv_uconadd would be my first thought make sure it is 1 Edited January 21, 2011 by HSMagnet

Pisi-Deff
But I noticed that I have to manually update the PBSVUser.cfg That is what you're supposed to do :)The "Enable MD5 AutoUpdates" flag is just a helper to get fresh MD5Tool checks onto the server. As there is no PB command that can save MD5Tool checks, they are only stored in memory and will be wiped upon server/PB restart. Therefore it's the admin's task to keep checks updated ;) , and we did not recieve any of the ban removals from Dec 1st, 2010.Was server even streaming at the time? Can't find a log for Dec 1st. (Bear in mind, I might've been looking in the wrong place.) ~Jeff Nice to meet you, Jeff. Good to see you've already met Jeff a.k.a. (Bear in mind, I might've been looking in the wrong place.) ~ /*Pisi*/ I believe we started streaming early November 2010 if I'm not mistaken. As you can see from my PBBans signature we caught a hack on Nov 30, 2010. But if the server settings are ok then I am going to assume I will need to lift those Dec 1st bans manually? Pleasure to meet you guys as well. Thanks for your help. ~Jeff Edited January 22, 2011 by {AW}Cptkook
