BF3 players that were banned really aren't banned!

What is the GSP? If you can link me up I have 5 to report. Or which would be better to report to? I also take it from your post that servers are not suppose to be ranked without PB on?

Game Server Provider.

 

Ranked servers are not allowed to run without PunkBuster, so you could report those servers to the GSP that is hosting them.

GSP = Game Server Provider (ie Rackage, Multiplay).

 

And yes, if a server is Ranked. PunkBuster should always be on. Infact I'm led to believe if the server is Ranked then PunkBuster is forced on.

Well if it is it is not working because I have 5 servers to double check today that all had rankings on and PB off when I checked them while looking at the players banned for cheats on the MI and saw them playing... Sigh

This was a general warning issued by my own clan server providers some time back:

 

Will people please make sure they use Punkbuster enabled

on all ranked servers from now on

I don't know why PB isn't forced on when server is ranked but it doesn't seem to be. Hence why the announcement was made.

I reported all 5 to Even Balance for now but sadly I found another 8 or so just using the browse feature in BL a little bit ago..... I will check on them again soon and if they are still up will report them to each one's GSP next. Thanks for all the hard work PB!!
