Notorious
I found this tip, but I would like to make sure that this is not 'illegal' to do? Ok I found out these 2 commands that really help my FPS. Drop down the console with the ~ and type these in: 1. /r_gpusync 0 2. /r_multigpu 1 These should bring your fps up. And if someone knows, what the 2 settings do...? TRUFR34K
Ok I found out these 2 commands that really help my FPS. Drop down the console with the ~ and type these in: 1. /r_gpusync 0 2. /r_multigpu 1 These should bring your fps up. I don't think they are illegal but please correct me if I am wrong. Read basically what they do below... Basically the game's developers are aware of the additional FPS possible when r_gpusync is disabled (set to 0), however because this setting controls the synchronization of the CPU and GPU (your graphics card(s)), disabling this can also introduce input (mouse/keyboard) lag. This is because your input can at times be processed by the CPU faster than it can be drawn on screen. So on balance they chose the default of r_gpusync = 3 to maintain synchronization while still giving good performance. The same situation (input lag) can occur if the 'Optimize for SLI' or r_multigpu setting is enabled.
wth
As far as those settings go you get more fps by checking the optimize for sli atleast in my case you do.Far as those setting being legal I believe they are.
