bartman
We have our own data and we are not affiliated in any way. Hi , i have a few questions related to this topic 1. Do you's share the same bans ? 2. Is it possible to stream with both yourselves and them for double security if you's DO NOT share the bans lists. 3. Would a server streaming to two MBL sites generate any xtra lag / stress on the servers.
RodeoBob
1. Do you's share the same bans ? No. Each site offers their own ban list. The reason we do not use PsB's list is simple...security and integrity of the bans. PBBans uses the streamed logs to validate the bans. 2. Is it possible to stream with both yourselves and them for double security if you's DO NOT share the bans lists. Yes, PBBans offers the Hub method of streaming while PsB using the repository method. 3. Would a server streaming to two MBL sites generate any xtra lag / stress on the servers. Not a bit....key issues is to ensure your configurations are correct as well as any additional MD5Tool or CVAR checks.

pwf_skabby
sounds good I double stream started this week and have no lag what-so-ever. Being members of both gives you access to many different cvar and md5 checks as well. Being a member of www.respectedadmins.com will give you many more as well. Geordie
No. Each site offers their own ban list. The reason we do not use PsB's list is simple...security and integrity of the bans. PBBans uses the streamed logs to validate the bans. Our list is just as secure as yours, we use streamed logs as well, as that is the only way that evidence is untampered. And we will be back very VERY soon. The PsB equipment has now arrived at the Dallas data center. The IPs are being provisioned and the rackspace is being powered! Hold tight, things are happening fast. The guys are online with the data center doing their magic.
RodeoBob
What I was meaning....was that we couldn't merge the two together into one ;) Unless of course those servers streamed to PBBans too :)
