=DEF= Clan Server Not Streaming - Little Help?

Hello everyone,

 

I hope that it is working fine and it takes a few hours to update the website but in anycase it states that our clanserver is not streaming.

Having our RANKED 2142 server with rackage gave us FTP access to the PB folder, i uploaded the two files (i had to delete the old one, would not overwrite at first) and even restarted the server after it said its not streaming.

The file pbucon.use is in the pb folder and same place at the pbdv.cfg file. I cant use the pb_sv_uconlist command as battlefield servers give no feedback. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your config file looks fine. Make sure the server is recognizing it though. To do that, restart your server. Then, after it has restarted, open up your FTP client and connect to your server. Navigate to the /pb/ folder, and then the /svlogs/ folder. Scroll to the bottom if needed, and open the last file there.

 

The contents of the log file will contain all of your loaded server settings at the top. These log files are created every time you restart your server, so if your pbsv.cfg file is being loaded properly, the settings will match the one in the log file. Now, scroll through the settings and see if you can find PB UCON Profile added type=1 mask="64.27.21.46" name="pbbanshub", or something like that.

 

If that line is not found before the settings end (Listening for HTTP

PunkBuster Server (v1.659 | A1375 C2.057) Enabled

Game Version [1.09.79.0]), then something's probably wrong with your config file. If you PM me your information (or ask me on Xfire [woolf2009]), I can try to help you out.

Thank you woolf for yoru assistance. The server is now streaming.

 

The problem is in 2142cc the punkbuster button overwrites the pvsv.cfg automaticaly and was then of course overwriting the file needed to stream.
