PBBans banned player....

Recommended Posts

I noticed I had a player on my server recently who has been banned globally for using an Aimbot - however the PBHub didn't enforce the ban on this player on my server. Anyone got any ideas why not?

Click 'Home', click 'Account Management' on the left Menu, click 'Manage Servers'.

Click 'Modify' beneath your Server. The chances are, Announce New Bans is checked.

This means whenever a Ban is added, it will be announced on your Server.

That's the 'Live' beauty of PBBans, it's brilliant ;)

ok now that confused me slightly....perhaps I didn't explain it properly? the player has been banned globally so he shouldn't have been able to play on my (streaming) server for hours on end in the last few days should he?

Are you positive that the player didn't have a different GUID?

made me wonder then - ive checked my server files and have:

[09.11.2008 17:34:38] New Connection (slot #20) 87.19.204.221:1585 [?] ".:SDH:. Pelox" (seq 5382312)

[09.11.2008 17:34:38] Player GUID Computed b2a2360a7716e53140b154c6f1efdbf3(-) (slot #20) 87.19.204.221:1585 .:SDH:. Pelox

I banned him manually on the 12/09/08

The GUID is defiantely a globally banned one
