A simple google search took me 5 min and i had your answer.....did you even try to find the answer yourself insted of just asking for it? Of couse i did. I visit codadmin.com alot . problem is that most of that you just said is swahilli to me and compounded by FTP madness. Im not lazy, just new and worried Im going to trash my server or config files. In all fairness I didnt actually ask for help with the config, it was a reference to how much help I would need with harder things , streaming the server. Hopefully its easier, that would be good. No, it's not common knowledge and I appreciate you cluing me in. I still dont see how anyone could hack your server through the use of a secondry program specifically PB, obviously other progs could. Tim I can change my config to run CTF from TDM so common knowlege doesnt really apply to me :-). Im working on it though. DC

No offense initended but that's dumb. So if little timmy dink boy comes on late at night to test his newly purchased POS hack and there no admins on we have to rely on the auto settingd if any for a SS? That leads into my second question, What's a power player and how do I become one? Apparently power players can take SS if its enabled on the server.

[it wasnt my server I was trying to take the SS in, that is possible right? for a player to take a PBSS. Ironically enough its the server I recieved my fiasco from. ...... I need to let that drop. I could be wrong but I think it was a typo, I think how it was supposed to read is, "you can increase its efficiency by some add-ons provoded by this site". IE streaming info from your server. DC Speaking of noobs my server is now up and running, I am still tryig to config it to run in CTF and not TDM so I will need LOADS of help to get it streaming. I have a question and it may be a dumb one, the only dumb question is the one not asked , right? I have heard this statement alot, mostly from admins and even a few ex-members of my clan from back in cod 1.1. "I only downloaded the cheat to know what I was looking for as a admin." Would it be possible to put our videos of each cheat from a 1st and 3rd person perspective so that anyone wanting to know what they were looking for would be able to view the video. I can also see how this might inspire the potential hacker to seek out the hack. Your thoughts? Wise words Murderur. As a side note I would like to point out hat the nostromo is not a bad piece of hardware for scripting Rcon commands. I can generally ban the jerk causing trouble before he can complete the sentence F off Im out of this lame server. Yes you are son, good day. I dont use it for play though, theres no good jump key. No I do not think people should be able to macro actions in the game, why play if you cant. DC

Woo Hoo they lifted my ban. 2 questions fozzer, PB doesnt have to look at the exact path C/program files/cod to find the UO folder? Seems if that were the case then it would kick me from TWL for having two UOs installed, Ill ask TWL its their whitelist. 2nd question after answering that I had not been kicked I decided to see if it were just the servers I was playing on. I got kicked but not wiht the usual PLAYER has been HW Banned I have seen so much of. What it said was a windows message, COD.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tested it and it was only the PB servers. Is that a usual message or do I know have something else wrong with my comp. LMAO I actually turned that nos on again last night but only at 103%, some people never learn :o :blink: . Theres something wrong with BF2. thaks for your patience guys. DC

No its not bannable but a list of 20 PB kicks for the same resone doesnt look good for anyone. I posted here becasue anyone searching for information about this kick may eventually end up here. Them reading this would be better than the information I recieved which was to run PB_enable security 0 which did not fix the problem. As I stated before, the game admins insist its your problem not theirs.

Admin please most topic to codUO specific, thanks, im an idiot. Since COD UO may be on it's way out this may be too late. Some of you, like me keep recieving the message listed above, when you ask the admin about it they tell you"you have installed the game improperly", not quite true but close. The MD5 can be adjusted by the server admins to check for certain violations of their choosing. One of the violations that the MD5 tool will pull up is some of the files found on the 1.51b patch for UO. This is a server side patch and not intended for clients to have on their comps. The 1.51b was downloaded by servers after installing the 1.51 patch and was designed at stopping a console command that some jerks were using to crash servers, I wont say it here becasue believe it or not some servers are still running 1.51. Solution: save all if any custom maps or mods you have obtained in the order they were in your main or UO folder, remove UO from your system and run a clean install of UO. Return to file planet and when faced with the 1.51 or the 1.51b dont get goofy and think you may want to run a server. Just get the 1.51, you can save the 1.51B in your documents folder for later if you actually do get around to setting up a server. Reinstall the 1.51 patch. Return your maps and mods to where you took them from and everything will be roses from then on out. Your favorites will disapere but I dont know which file to save for that, sorry. Possibly hunk usage but ask someone smarter than me. MD5 tool mismatch will also kick for real violations (you know who you are) and at that point your will have to file a ticket with EB, can't help you there. DC
