Are you wanting to update Via PBBans Admin Tool (PAT)/Jpat or manually update ?

He is not the only one that it happens too .This is not the first time this discussion has been brought to attention , this is a bug with the punkbuster software and is not a SS Blocker. Evenbalance is aware of this issues and is working on a fix for it .

thats the problem :) it is in the EB software not the COD2 code. PB is tring to take a SS via openGL , witch is not present in COD2 resulting then error .

B0 = application not active screen capture failedB0 means that the game is minimized or in the background. B1 = screenshot sucessful attempted line present B2 = screenshot sucessful attempted line not present B0 means that the game is minimized or in the background. This problem has been around for awhile and is mostly seen in linux systems. It is caused by left over code i believe . glReadPixels is part of the opengl drivers and cod2 uses directx drivers. This is not do to a SS blocker .

PB_SV_BanEmpty Empties the current ban list stored in memory When entering bans into PB via PB_SV_BanLoad or PB_SV_BanGuid these methods will only enter bans not currently in memory . By receiving the 0 bans loaded message confirms that the server command was received .(for better confirmation view your log files ). It is my belief you have got the (0bans loaded) message , because the bans are currently present . If you would like to assure they have been loaded simply restart the server . then use the PB_SV_BanList command . on server start the bans from pbbans.dat will be loaded . Note: to load your optional banlists everytime the sever starts simply place this command if your pbsv.cfg PB_SV_BanLoad [optional filename] Loads a PB Ban List from the specified file; if no filename specified, then pbbans.dat is loaded . using the PB_SV_AutoUpdBan 1 command will make the pbbans.dat auto update.

not trying to disagree , but something you should really consider even with the appending glitches . Player models will not blacken do to these map glitches .

Well this could be caused by several different reasons. first thing i would try to asure that the lag spike is being caused by PB would be to disable PB restart my server and confirm that the lag has stopped with PB disable . if confirmed that PB is the source of the lag i would start by installing a fresh PB installation , first removing the old PB files from the server (IF possible ). Let me know what the results are , i will do my best to assist you with this issue .

well just let me know if they give you access or what not , we can still load the cvars without ftp if need be .

Do you mean using extrnal software to take a screenshot on request Via sending pb command ? Also hands up to aLeX^rS ive used your software form the tracker forums good stuff !

Evenbalance would never allow anyone to test cheats/hacks . they have there own research team , and even if they were to test it against there pb system , they have a seperate non-public pb server to test it on. if anyone gets caught cheating and claims they are testing i assure you it is not athorized by any staff member of Evenbalance's . So as been said many many many times DO not attempt to test cheats/hacks . If you do you will be taking a huge risk . For a confirmed ban will never be removed. And your taking a chance of possibly being hardware banned rendering your pc useless on any pb enabled game/server.

Ignore him , if he alters any screenshots it will be detected. But make sure he has no access to anyones game keys/user passwords and such . if he has no access to any of your pc's or cd keys/passwords he can do nothin . And as far as living next door to a PB admin he is most likely blowing smoke up your A**. Evenbalance Admin's are not going to falsly Ban a player over personal issues .

We are more then happy to help you with your problem . But you must understand , the pbbans group has alot of things on their to do list that they must juggle around constantly . QUESTION: Are you running any anti-cheats scripts from other anti-cheat sites ,this can cause an issue depending on whats included in the scripts.

In my opinion i would say yes , the first shot seems to show a ganja leaf in it (unless there is a plant there) .and by having 3 shots all showing the same results i findit hard to beleive its a glitch.

Running the game in windowed mode could also cause this issue .

I will certainly try to help you , but i need to know what cvar it is kicking you for if you could post the full kick error i would gladly help you .

Need this information before we can help: Please post the complete kick message . post your player name. post last server kicked from if possible.

YES Then Try this: Download this script: fix.cfg (SAVE AS : fix.cfg) place the (fix.cfg) in your \Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\Main directory. start COD2, open the command console (~) then type this: Exec fix.cfg

Config Files Config.cfg Config_mp.cfg The main config files for Call of Duty 2 are called config.cfg and config_mp.cfg, and are stored in your Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\players\[Profilename] directory.

Looks like you have modified your config file for COD2. you need to change these back: r_polygonOffsetBias 15 (Will most likely be illegal, I recommend leaving it on -1.) cg_thirdperson = 1 (Most servers require this to be "0" i believe.

Yes if you were streaming to PBBANS he would have been banned , But your not streaming to PBBANS witch means we can not verifiy the screenshots. Note: You should never change the names on a cheaters screenshot . the screenshots need to stay unaltered to be verified.
