Nappy created a separated addon for this :click, but today i ve discovered some better way: 1) go to http://www.punksbusted.com/cgi-bin/membership/publicbans.cgi and copy the banlist of et 2) go to http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php and click generate ban list [it will remove the duplicates] 2) paste the bans from PsB 3) w8 for generate the banlist 4) copy pbbans.dat into pb dir 5) edit the etadmin.cfg and put somewhere: compare.ip = PB_SV_BanList "<PART2IP>" go to the end of etadmin.cfg and make the command available for x lvl, example: x = compare.ip 6) do !readconfig Output for a player with a clean IP address: !compare.ip khah compare.ip: PunkBuster Server: End of Ban List (0 of 1117 displayed) Output for a player with a dirty IP address ( ip address used to cheat): !compare.ip luk4 compare.ip: PunkBuster Server: 1116 02b31b01e937c83710c16f8b5bd5d6a4 {0/-1} testcheater 83.5.118.99 VIOLATION (test cheater)//PunkBuster Server: End of Ban List (1 of 1117 displayed) after all u can easily compare the ip of any player with your pbbans.dat ;], but having over 20k bans in your pbbans.dat is not so good idea... regards

Master Ban Index (MBI) how do i install it on my server?
Luk4ward replied to *Hellcats*Tiger's topic in Battlefield 2
so the option 'Enforce Bans' is much better than having all these bans in pbbans.dat on server because: new bans are not adding to the file which makes him small and better to read by server no bans are removing because of appeals in the real time so players dnt feel some warps u dnt have to worry about new missed bans because of some situations (like restarting server) u dnt have to remember to keep the file small and removing very old bans etc. Am i right? ;p I think ill enable this option on all ET servers, regards -

PB ET Linux Uploading SS's to website
Luk4ward replied to ES Secret Squirrel's topic in General Discussions
heh, so, did u check if script was written in editor with unix line termination? Did u also check the chmods on pb/ssweb.sh ? And remote dir for you should be propably: REMOTE_DIR="./public_html/pbss/" or REMOTE_DIR="./pbss/" only if u got pbss in the main dir of your website host, thats my thougths :P -
PB ET Linux Uploading SS's to website
Luk4ward replied to ES Secret Squirrel's topic in General Discussions
hehe, yes. The problem is with script. Doesnt work with such path: ./home/pb. So i was talking with the admin of my host and after the advice from foxdie we changed paths. Follow this instructions: 1) type via rcon: path and u should got smth like this: 18:13:38:> path --------------- Current search path: ./home/etpro /home/gameservers/ET-3269/etpro/etpro-3_2_6.pk3 and 18:13:30:> pb_sv_homepath ------------------------- PunkBuster Server: Home Path is ./home/pb/ so your NEW fs_homepath is: /home/gameservers/ET-3269/ 2) Propably u dnt have a pb dir in your main dir (/home/gameservers/ET-3269/), so copy past pb from the old location to the main where u have got etmain, etpro dirs 3) Now u just need to edit your starting command. Change + set fs_homepath ./home to +set fs_homepath /home/gameservers/ET-3269 (without '/' at the end !!!) 4) Set your publish file (this script in the pb dir) with 777 chmods 5) Change the cmd in the pb configuration file: pb_sv_SsCmd "pb/publish.sh; sh /home/gameservers/ET-3269/pb/publish.sh" that's all ;) p.s oh remember to write a script with proper editor which has got Unix line termination (check previous posts) -
very simple and working minimaliser: http://gonbon.com/etmin/

If it is not a norton i dnt know the reason cos i was getting the same thing some time b4. Some suggested me to use proxy and it was the solution for me, regards

cl_timenudge: This is similar to pushlatency in HalfLife, defaults to 0 which is our suggested setting for online play. In Quake3 it is normally used for offline bot practice by using a positive value that is the same as average ping. However, a positive value can also be used to stabilize displayed frames with gameworld updates(snaps) and negative values are reported to adjust client side prediction. We strongly suggest you leave cl_timenudge at 0 for online play. However If you do wish to alter cl_timenudge to adjust client side prediction then try a negative value that is 25% to 50% of your average ping. Example if you are currently pinging 100 to the server then experiment with a setting between -25 to -50 as your cl_timenudge value. Note that if you are using a negative value for cl_timenudge the top graph in cg_lagometer may be mostly yellow. A positive value may help if you have problems with gameworld updates (snaps) not being rendered in time. Try a small positive cl_timenudge value of 5,10,15 or 20 never higher. See cg_lagometer for an explanation of how to determine if gameworld updates are not being rendered in time. I heard that if u got antilag on then there is no ponit to allow negative or positive value...About ignoring, just use the search button. You just have to adjust settings of checking cvars / files (md5 list) / changed user cvars. PB_SV_CvarFreq [Number] The number of times per minute (default is 6) that each player has one cvar value checked against the current list of cvar ranges on this server PB_SV_CvarChangedPulse [Number] The number of minutes (default is 99 which means disabled) between automatic sends of the CVARCHANGED command described in the command section above PB_SV_CvarWalk [Number] The default setting of 0 tells PunkBuster to simply log lists of cvar names returned by the CVARSRCH, CVARUSER and CVARCHANGED commands so that the Admin would have to manually query the individual values if desired; a non-zero setting tells PunkBuster to "walk" through each cvar returned in such a list automatically and log the values of each cvar - the higher the number for this setting, the more cvars PunkBuster walks through during each processing cycle pb_sv_md5toolfreq [Number] To use the MD5Tool Facility, server admins must configure their PunkBuster server(s) to keep a list of files to be checked along with certain other parameters such as file offset and number of bytes to check. For each check, PunkBuster limits the offset to 16 byte boundaries and the length of data checked to between 16 and 2048 bytes per check. Additionally, PunkBuster waits a while between file checks so that players will not see constant disk activity during gameplay. By default, one file is checked every 60 seconds. Admins can set the pb_sv_md5toolfreq setting from 30 to 300 seconds to determine how often PB cycles from one file check to the next for each player on their server(s). Important are also net settings of your server (for example autoscreenshots have influence too) and players. There u can find a little how to for players: click regards
