Yep we have come across this style of name changing recently but not frequently YET ... Not got anything worth a ban off the name changers as they have left quickly once admin/ref go spec ... Local ban or kick till we get something worth seeing . We shall keep a big eye open though .

I cant help but chuckle @ this debate .... is a 180 script okay . Yeh sure is the server your playing on allows it . I like the roundabout argument that it allows someone to play with real LOW sensitivity but thats isnt an advantage over other players .... Okay make your sensitivity higher then or get back raged cause you cant turn around :) .Players have there sens very low to aim better/make more head shots/be more consistent. However saying this it is allowed on our server and i know players that use a 180 turn script ,I really enjoy trying to wind them up at silly oclock in the morning about how lame a 180 turn script is .Is a 180 any lamer than my fast arty script , spawn selector ,class selector ,... Doubt it really . Do any of these scripts help you gain an advantage .. Of course they do otherwise they wouldn't get used . BUT it depends on where who you are playing . Other experienced players will have tweeked configs all available selectors and timers especially in competitions . A debate over tweek v cheating is a massive can of worms . As the standard game cvars are changeable eg scripts and tweeks allowed then it isnt cheating as it is available to everyone ? maybe .. except all those players that cant even write a cfg. :) So whats Allowable is up to the server you play on .... Maybe.

I am sure I read somewhere that on rare occasions the desktop or part of it can be captured if the game is minimized. Anyone tried translating what the chat was about ? :)

if you are referring o less than 30 seconds have passed since last screenshot that is set by punkbuster itself ...... 30 seconds apart and max 3 in 10 mins ...... and if you blitz your settings over max you are bound to get corrupt and missing screen shots as people disconnect map restarts and so on .... I dont see the value in auto screenshota s you return so many of these errors anyhow . Well you do on a server the size of ours where we would need to look through few thousand per day .. :P

Pah fiddlesticks and cry cry cry ..... I thought i have followed instructions yet I cant get it to work either . I have tried the PB_SV_SSCmd as quoted then i did pb_sv_homepath in hlsw and used the path it returned just like luk4ward . and return the same : Attempted pb_sv_ssCmd (result=1) . have you guys sorted this in private chat ? can any one who got it working offer any further help ? I have tried various combinations yet to get a result . I can see why i took to drinking beer and playing pool rather than continuing my computer studies A level :o

After you upgraded to 2.60b have you changed your rcon password/s . As before this a vulnerabilty existed where your ref and rcon passwords could be downloaded. We should know as this was done to our server . As for name changing : on our etpro server : in pbsv.cfg pb_sv_ChangePeriod 500 //[seconds] pb_sv_ChangeMax 3 //[Max name changes allowed] pb_sv_DupNameGrace 20 //[seconds] stops idiots name changing to avoid detection.Would help with your problem . after 3 changes they get kicked. by the way what mod are you running ? if you are on jaymod or noquarter their is apparently a vulnerability to stop you banning people and getting other players kicked/banned etpub aswell for getting players dropped.Guess you would need to report this to the mod makers and see if their is a fix ?

Yep it would be a lot of cvars if gobbo being really silly never set a sv_cvarempty command. I remeber taking out the pb_sv_cvarempty from my .config file in etpro as it was clearing my pbbans cvar checks .! In my defence i took a 6v6 config and modded it for my public server . rofl @ me anyhow problem solved so alls well :P

Hi I am wondering if anyone knows what this means.On the admin control for the server i see the commands set like : [02:58:13] etpro: init command sv_cvar cl_freelook EQ 1 all 30 settings like this read up and then i see the following error .: 02:58:14] ClientBegin: 31 [02:58:14] Setting Axis autospawn to Tank Depot [02:58:14] Setting Allied autospawn to Allied Spawn [02:58:14] etpro: ERROR sv_cvar MAX_CVAR_LIMITS hit. the ERROR sv_cvar MAX_CVAR_LIMITS hit. spams up around 30 times followed by [02:58:14] etpro svcmd: forcing client cvar [r_wolffog] to [0] Yet when i check all the players have their settings set to within the command limits within game .Anyone seen this or know what i have messed up ? is is specific to certain players ? It doesnt seem to cause a problem but it bugs me seeing an error message and not knowing how to fix it Cheers if someone can help -=[MC]=-GOBBO

I wonder if anyone else is a slow as me ? I only sussed out minguidage command has been disabled by PB 2 days ago :( I am wondering why you want to right a program for minguid age when admin mod has a function for it and or you can set it with pb in your server configs .! well they would have if it wasnt disabled :)

mackel their is a screenshot and demo uploading forum you have to go to with instructions in a topic at top of page. You have to have a streaming server and i think be a game admin to submit. If you can see the forum for submisions then i guess you can post and ask ?
