  1. It isn't that the server will kick you actually, it just simply cannot go any higher. Obviously, you never played UT or Quake where you might actually want it to be 125 at times regardless if it made the screen look "round" and warped.
  2. Can you just backup the players folder and put it back when you have completed reinstalling the game?

  10. Seems you don't even need it installed to run a server. I got it now. Now I just need some more explanation on how to make multiple servers.
  11. I hit a new snag. I uploaded the game and selected the .exe. It doesn't get past the first screen because the box is only 8-bit color. It needs 16-bit to proceed. What's next?
  12. Before I spend two days uploading 4gb, I want to ask if I just zip up the contents of my DVD will it install fine on the server by hitting the exe just fine?

  17. Sucks huh? All PB enabled Crysis servers crash. It's something that Crytek is aware of and they said they would fix it in the first or second patch.
  18. I found out that the IP ending in 51 is actually being shown in the web tool for server IP ending in 50. Why would they conflict like that?
  19. I can login, update, switch maps, as far as I know, just fine but I cannot see the player list. Can anyone give me any suggestions about this problem?

  21. Problem: After the round is over and the map is loaded usually more then half the server drops for name stealing. My question is how to make it so PB doesn't scan for name dupes it because Crysis obviously has more then one problem with PB? As you can imagine this empties out a server quite quick.     Has PB made any advancements in this game yet? The cheating is getting really bad. ( Or so I suspect ) But I don't want to straight up ban a person without a PBSS. Has anyone got them to work? It would be really great if we can start getting some of these cheaters banned.
  23. It's damned near impossible! I tried for two hours last night. Tell me there will be an easier way when this game develops more.
  24. Anyone know what kind of server resources we are talking about for setting up a DX10 server versus a DX9?
