  2. http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-2a21d05f-vb131266.html Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about this ban. It is a confirmed cheat. The player that got caught was from Italy. I would say make sure your Internet Security and Anti-spyware programs are updated and do weekly scans for both. Someone, got your key somehow and it is more than likely a virus or keylogger. So, double check your system with other free scanners as well. One may not pick something up, but the other may. You dont know. As for the ban, it is valid and will remain on the MBI. Go buy a new game and make certain your key is not layiing out somewhere. Sorry.
  3. More than likely, your PC is not fully protected by any type of Internet Security software. There are a few ways to have your CD-Key stolen though. 1. You bought the CD-Key from a shady retailer. 2. You have viruses, trojans or malware on your PC and your key was stolen that way. 3. You got the game from a friend, or so-called friend, and then you played the game not knowing where it might have came from. 4. Someone came to your place and played the game and copied the CD-Key off the jewel case and took it home and used it for themselves to cheat with or hand out to other websites. You never know. But, it all depends on the end-user, which is YOU! You MUST keep your key safe and out of other peoples' hands. You MUST not buy from a shady place. You MUST get a very good Internet Security Program and have it installed and updated daily. You MUST NOT let others play on your PC.
  4. I never even played the first L4D. lol

  6. I am wondering if Evenbalance even read this thread.
  7. Is there a demo or beta out now that I am not aware of?
  8. I have no idea. Maybe on of the other staff removed it for some reason. I really dont know. Most of the staff are in bed now and I will ask them tomorrow.
  9. Do this: 1st: Reformat your HD. 2nd: Refresh your modem to change your IP. 3rd: Install an Internet Security with antivirus and anti-spyware scanners and make sure they are updated daily. 4th: Buy brand new game from a game store. Dont buy online unless it is steam or fileplanet. 5th: Do not let anyone near your PC to play your games without you there watching them. 6th: DO NOT download anything from any site that may be malicious in nature! If you follow those rules, you will be fine. :)
  10. You have to re-add the server to your account. And one of the staff will check it and either approve or deny it.
  11. You most likely have a virus or keylogger on your PC that got a hold of your CD-Key and sent the key to the author of the virus and he used it to cheat.
  12. You are banned because someone stole your CD-Key and used it to cheat: http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-41d6eb8d-vb125381.html Globally banned because of a Leaked CD-Key
  13. Contact EB and tell them so they can fix it on their end as well.
  14. Glad to help. Topic Closed.
  15. He does have a lot of linked GUID's that are banned using his IP. He is a cheater. However, he is currently on a new GUID, which means that he can play on streaming servers until he gets caught again. Then that GUID will be no good unless he plays on a non-pb server. The HUB only enforces bans that are already on the MBI. GUID's that are not banned are allowed to play.
  16. PLayer name and GUID that you are referring to?
  17. Well, I hope this one is good too.
  18. Excellent Work So Far. :)

  19. Thank you all.

  20. I notice when someone gets banned by a CVAR, MD5 or EB scan, it displays the announcement across all servers that have the announce bans flag checked. But, what about the "Caught by Demo" or "Caught by PBSS" or a manual MD5 ban that somehow did not go through when it was supposed to. Is there a way to announce those bans too?
