Yes he will however I read that BF2 account gets flagged for some violations. Not sure how much truth is in that. EA states it will wipe the account that was caught.

PBBans only bans players if it's cheat related. We do NOT ban for admin abuse, orange player names, glitching etc. If you need to report a player that breaks the Rules of Conflict they need to be sent to EACS. 3rd party report sites only forward reports to EACS so it's best to contact EACS directly.

There are a few tweaks in BF2 that is cheating (show enemy tags, no static on TV cam, etc) but those con files are just video settings. Also BF2 / BF2142 doesn't support CVAR checks like other games.

You will not get banned for using those custom con files.

Not sure about the exe but the .con files are just config files for BF2 and you won't get kicked for using them.

Our ban lists use PB GUID's while 2142CC uses a hash generated by BF2142. The easiest way is to goto the account manager and View Servers, click on the Edit Flags option below the server IP. Enable the "Enforce Bans" option. This will check players as they connect, if they are on our banlist they will be banned by the hub.

When a person gets a global guid ban by evenbalance the person must get a new CD Key for the game in question.

What is the server IP? Also if you have file access to the servers pb folder upload the sample pbsv.cfg file located here Also the PB logs will show any errors with pbucon.
