It was a new engine on PC with DX11 and destruction. That's what pisses me off even more with CoDBO. It's the same modified engine that doesn't have anything ground breaking in it. At least DICE had public betas in an attempt to get feedback, Treyarch never even had a PC beta and if they did they would of had time to fix it before release. I wouldn't rent one even if the game rank smooth as silk. Far too many restrictions and a shitty GSP is hosting everything. Problem with CoD4 isn't that there are no servers, it's that there are no players on the servers. Renting yet another empty one will do nothing. As you can see from the overlay once the cpu load goes below 100% mouse becomes smooth. So all signs point to a bad console port :P

When you pay $45 ($60 with no discounts) for a product that doesn't work it's hard not to be pissed. Next time you buy a product at a retail store such as a TV or video game, when you get it home don't open it for a few weeks and then you may understand what it's like. BF3 doesn't interest me at all. I never did like the battlefield series honestly. As for CoD4 it's becoming impossible to find a low ping server anymore, and it's just hard to find a populated server in MoH.

Fixed my lag. Steam was loading the wrong exe, iw3mp.exe works much better.

FPS isn't the issue. I get > 50 all the time and upwards of 100 but it's still studdering a lot.

They introduced a new anti-cheat system. It's called massive studdering which causes cheaters to stop playing. However there are a lot of "false positives"

I don't expect to get anything from it but it may send a message that the game is broken. It's funny that people on the steam forums tell us to wait. To which I replied: If other retail products was like this still the retailers would be nailed to the wall but it's ok when software companies do it. Something needs to change because the consumer is getting shafted again and again.

Nope just a bad console port. My E8500 @ 3.5ghz and Geforce 460GTX has no issues with other games. Hell it even runs MoH on max in DX11.

I've had enough, almost two weeks and I still can't play it. If they don't fix it tomorrow I'm going after D2D for a refund. This is long enough to fix the damn console port.

Amazing how fast rank related bugs / exploits get fixed with little to no QA while the lag is still there after a week.

Well now I've lost all respect for treyarch. http://forums.gameservers.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=41894 In case you don't know treyarch left score dvars in BO which allows booster servers that give max rank after one kill etc. Pretty bad when you get banned over playing on a boosted server. This is why hacks are ruin games now, more time and money is spent to protect the all mighty stats system instead of making better AC solutions. So glad the pos doesn't have PB cause I would never want to support it.
