Your cd key creates your GUID so technically they are one in the same. The game creates a Raven GUID and PB creates a PB GUID.

You mean to tell me that sof some how arbitrarily assigns a guid in the event you dont enter one or accidentally delete it after instalation?

What my buddy here is trying to say is talk to me about how you can get your server streamming with PBBANS so when you catch these cheats we can add them to the ban list for you. Get me on MSN or my Team Speak which is in my siganture.

LOL Ok the no_fog.pk3 is a cheat along with the rest of the files mentioned. Realistically the only file that was downloaded durring the nofog.pk3 epidemic was the z_nofog.pk3 the other nofogs bans IMO shouldnt have been lifted its a cheat either way but because it was downloadable from the server we granted the appealed bans a curtosy ban lift due to this. The Flash.pk3 is a file that makes the characters RED and viewable through walls. Look at my Clan Member that I banned as an example. Flash pk3 example And as someone mentioned teh correct cvar is cg_fov 80-100, Aimbots need a cvar to determin the range they are to react. most fovs for aimbots will be 2.0 and below so that they are not easily detected.

This is primitive but its what i do cause it works 100 percent of the time. PB on the server is the same as PB in your own game folder so I update my pb on my PC and then zip it and upload it to the server and replace teh PB thats there. PBweb still works and from my experiances works better then the new update tool if you need a PBWEB.exe I have one.

The no_fog.pk3 missmatch will throw a player on the MBL, I see it all the time when I run GUID's. I thought that the client/player to appeal the ban and then with disscussion the ban would be lifted. Correct me if Im wrong but I have sent many people to PBBANS in advice to get the fogpk3 ban appealed.

The AFK call was what I was thinking and Acids observation is completley true, they are for different maps and the textures in these SS Imply AA in Jor. Based on the observations in this thread I agree to lean towards a blocker.

You shoul dhaved a setting in your pbsv.cfg that dictates that action (to auto update) the cvar is: pb_sv_autoUpdBan 1 //0=No, 1=Yes auto update ban list pb_sv_banload //load ban list pbbans.dat is the default ban list used. Banmask is only when you want to ban a range of IP's. You dont usually want to use this function.

When you said "we cant use the SS's cause its a corrupted image Actually thats not why, " We have to authenticate through server logs that the SS is in fact legit to avoid possible fraudgulent ss's being sent into us to implicate innocent people. By streamming it allows us to verify that the SS was taken when, where and of whom. We also require entries of the server log with submission of the SS to match up identically with the loggs we have on file from the Repository. Its a status upgrade for the forums like DEP was a Gamming Host he would like to become a Gamming Host instead of just being a Streamming Game Admin.. Masterer I would suggest that you PM either DentalX or Bob about you're company and provide a website and a couple of ways to authenticate that you indeed are a Game Host once that is done I see no reason why you wouldnt be upgraded. Here is the thing you will get alot of lag i fyou use the entire MD5 tool list we offer, if you play RocMod Noble then you dont need the OSP checks or the Roc Mod Checks all you need are the Base and MP folder checks...
