DC, I appreciate your efforts in trying to get EvenBalance to see what you have to say...however, I have to disagree in your approach. There is no reason to chastise or bad mouth EvenBalance on these forums. While I can see you are trying to lay out the facts, you should start out slowly and explain your problem before you yell bloody murder. I also think you are off base when it comes to Global Bans. Since the beginning of the use of PB, I have never received a Global Ban....especially for my sometimes piss poor internet connection. The only time I have ever seen the Global Ban issue was when my sof2 key file was corrupt and subsequently emptied.....PB assigned me a generic GUID, which just so happens to be on the Global Ban list as a "shared key". Maybe what you could do is start off by explaining your unique problem, and not use these forums as a shouting box at EvenBalance (which btw, we support). Now, if you have any specific evidence to dictate that your problem is, in fact, valid and should be corrected. I will be glad to seek out my contacts at EvenBalance and have them look into it. I hope that I am not offending you and that you see through the anger that you have....a bit more clearly....and are able to continue on posting here. Rodeo

I cleaned up the startup script and it looks like this now: The server runs with this startup script with no problem....it is when I try to add the exec powerserver.cfg entry in the dedicated.cfg when the server refuses to startup. No matter what....when I run the startup script....I always see what is in the attached image. Any clue what the "command not found 2" error is?

You "appealed" it.....an e-mail response will be sent to you when the appeal process is completed.

I need some help with my CoD2 server. I cannot get the http redirect to work properly.....it keeps downloading from the game server and not from the website. I also cannot get the powerserver mod to startup. If I have the exec powerserver.cfg line in the dedicated.cfg....the startup script errors out and server does not start. The error is "file not found". I have pasted my startup script, dedicated.cfg, and powerserver.cfg here.....in hopes that someone can help me resolve the issue: Startup Script: Dedicated.cfg powerserver.cfg My files are stored on the website here: http://www.vod-gaming.com/downloads/main/ and do match what are on the game server.

I am not at liberty to tell you what goes on in discussing the ban during the appeals process.....nor can I tell you if your ban will be lifted.

The instructions are as easy as doing the manual PB commands.

As you can tell.......the forums do not look the same. I have taken into consideration that our forum topic areas were too spread out and not very well organized. So, I spent the last 5 hours over-hauling the forums. No, data was lost....just moved around a bit. I removed the areas for each game and consolidated them into one area. This was largely due to the fact that PunkBuster is mostly the same throughout all games. The other reason was the fact that some games were lying dormant and people complained of lack of updates or use. With this consolidation, now we can better focus our attention on keeping the information flowing and up to date. What everyone needs to keep in mind.....this is not our daily job.....nor life.......we do the best we can do with what we have. Patience is always needed in situations such as this. In most cases, offering suggestions and comments is key to an excellent site!

Would help if you were to provide more information about the player in your clan.

Hrmm...... PBBans was created in 2003 as a separate site. We do not share bans between the two sites. The main reason we don't share the bans is we require the proof for the ban (i.e, the servers streamed PB logs) and by sharing the bans with PsB and vice versa we will not have the "secure" logs. However, we do offer the capability to combine ban lists into one banlist. We would like to have your business here at PBBans but we do not pressure anyone. I also invite you to now post in the Private Discussion Area versus the Public area.
