PB support discontinued for Battlefield 1942

I'm so confused, I downloaded "bf1942_win32" , but where do I put the files?

 

In your PB directory of the game.

 

C:/prgram files (x86)/EA Games or Electronic Arts/Battlefield 1942/pb

I got it off Origin, so do I do the same thing?

Put the files you got in the pb folder and that should do it.

 

Note: EA stopped supporting BF1942 PB software. So the version of the game from retail and origin are different. I don't know if you can put the PB files in the origin one.

some EB masterserver resources are finally gone, (pbweb post #23 (fixed) works with some redirection errors; as well attachments in post #3 are refreshed now)
