EXS
I cannot play Battlefield2 because I have recieved a ban yesterday. I do not understand why and I wonder if anyone can help to get this resolved. I am posting this hera because PBBans is mentioned in the kick message. Here is the kick message when in-game I click on Join: "Punkbuster has kicked player '<playername>' (for 30 minutes)... Enforced PBBans EBL. Your GUID was banned by GGC Stream" My GUID is c0d30f62 and from everything I can find it is clean. My IP is 76.6.85.16. I tried to contact someone at GGC-streams.com but cannot connect to that site yesterday or today. How does one go about resolving this? I want to appeal the ban but I do not know the process nor the evidence against me. I suspect it is in error unless my GUID or IP was hacked because I use no cheats, bought the game disk new, installed on one PC and no one else has played on my PC or used my disk. I have contacted Evenbalance and they say I have to take it up with ggc-stream. How do I contact them??

EXS
Their website is not accessible. www.ggc-stream.com What is irc and how do I contact them thru that? Also, what is PBBans role in this? Apparently Punkbuster enforced PBBan's EBL which is based on this mysterious GGC stream ban. It appears that this is all done automatically by Punkbuster and by PBBan nbased on what GGC says. But I need to know what evidence do they offer? None so far. Does GGC give PBBan any info other than "banned"? I realize they are trying to stop cheaters, but in this case I believe they have gone too far and have made a mistake. I will keep trying to access their website. Everson
Last I heard GGC-Stream was under a DDoS attack, you'll just need to keep trying. Your ban is enforced by PBBans using GGC ban list. EBL's allow server administrators to enforce bans from other lists without having to be signed up for streaming to the specific sites. EBL sites are a limited number of anti-cheat sites which have an arrangement with PBBans. According to GGC there is Punkbuster screenshot evidence to support a ban: http://www.ggc-stream.com/index.php?area=guid_search&guid=a7c0d541a1767929f2498b17c0d30f62&action=do_search&do=guid_search As AcE said though, you need to take it up directly with GGC. The EBL will enforce this ban while your GUID remains on a GGC ban list.
EXS
Thank you Everson. That link works now and is a helpful step. I would like to see what is in the screenshot to which they refer and for which I am banned. I hope I have a reasonable explanation. I will begin the appeal process on the GGC-Stream site.
