Being in -7- once and leaving -7- because they don't even allow TWEAKING would say to me, since all of them were also 'caught', that the #20005 is a faulty error. From the evenbalance site: We encourage PB Admins to ... ignore any #20005 violations... Given this error is buggy and obviously not hacking, why are there still over 300 players listed from the -7- server as CHEATERS? Me being one of them. I would encourage the admins or whoever of this site to get in contact with Team Seven (www.teamseven.net/forums) to clear their names from this list. Quote

The -7- clan submitted their sv_cheat.log for addition to the bans list. Those violations were inadvertently added and are being removed. If you were banned by the -7-, hopefully it wasn't for the 20005 error. Quote

None of the existing Punkbuster enforcement sites (at least for ET) require them as conclusive proof, even though they are nice to have. Stick a fork in it - this is done. Quote

Guest Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 you are that original "caught" guy if the ip matches. might as well come clean, dude. and if I read that other post right you got a global ban? you got bigger things to worry about than a ban from pbbans. a global ban is from evenbalance for hacking punkbuster. they won't remove it no matter how much you cry because they have undisputed proof that you hacked. and where the pbbans list is only shared by admins who know about it, the global bans are transmitted to all pb servers automatically. I saw his post and copied it, if I was the original I would have just put caught in the name, don't you think ;) Anyways, I haven't gotten a global ban. It's a free game - have fun with it, nobody put a lot of money into it. Nobody is HURT if someone cheats, plenty of non-cheaters find PB a hassle. Quote

Why would anyone remove a valid ban from the list. So don't worry he's still listed there and doesn't need to be re-added to it. Quote
