2 emails from [email protected]

1 email from 2 days ago stated "PBbans Funding" in the subject line, body was blank

Another email today....subject was "PBbans Closure" and agin body was blank.

 

I will presume PBbans email system has a virus and to ignore these.

 

 

Suggest that any emails that do go out are first posted in Anouncements so we can verify.

I got the blank email too,I don't know if this is any help, but I use this for sending mass pm's, which as most people have their notifications turned on and are as good as emails http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/2517-dp34-mass-pm/ and you can taylor the pm to the group you are sending it too.

Considering the last bulk email worked fine however that wasn't yesterday. I haven't had a chance to look into it as I'm out of town working.

Looks like it was a bug in IPB. I've applied the patch and it seems to be working on the test emails I just send to staff members. I've resent the mass email one more time. Hopefully it works correctly for everyone now.

I to had the emails 1 on the 16/3/2013 saying ppbans funding and 2 on the 18/3/2013 saying ppbans clousre and all 3 was blank emails , whats going on

If it still doesn't work then it may be an email issue. Worked for me in gmail but not sure if it will be ok for hotmail and others.

Todays email ok but the closure issue would be best put in announcements I would think but nanyways it's fixed, thanks.

try using a rar file. Never had that issue before.
