PB PROBLEM AGAIN

I THINK I have the "loss of packets" issue solved......(that has yet to be seen though).

 

But I am having an issue getting kicked for "Blocked OS Priviledges"

 

I am the only person that uses this CPU and I am listed as the admin. How do I fix this?? :unsure:

had a case just last week were this issue was resolved with .... a reboot :)

 

the official line is this:

 

I keep getting kicked by PunkBuster for "Blocked O/S Privileges"?

 

Please temporarily disable other security type programs you have running such as anti-virus, process guard, SDProtector, etc. to find out which of them is blocking PB's access to resources on your computer. You either need to run PB without the blocking program(s) or play on non-PB servers. Also make sure you run the game under an Administrator or equivalent account under Windows. If you do have access an admin account, you can right click on the application you want to run and select "Run As". This will allow you to give admin access to that program and should allow you to play with a limited user.

 

 

if you have gone through this then try deleting pbcl.db - pbcl.dll - pbag.dll - pbags.dll and running pbsetup afterwards .. some malaware can induce this problem so a full sweep of your system would be recommended too .. and if all that does not help you can try opening a trouble ticket here

try to give as much info as possible and be prepared to wait for a response

Hey Willy, what did you do for the packet loss. My impressionis that it is a PB issue. There is another thread I started about this same issue. curious as to what you did.

PB is again only LOGGING cheats and such. Thier patch 1.250 for their patch 1.249 was bad. KICKING IS DISABLED again.

Now realize also, the cheaters know PB is broken so watching your logs/screenies is the only way right now to catch them until PB fixes thier stuff.

 

We have many many in the logs for packetloss

CLIENT SIDE, I went into my pb directory and deleted pbbag, pbbags and a couple others.....then followed that up with a re-boot of PBSETUP. That cleared the problem up IMMEDIATELY. I have not had a problem since. :D

 

Anyone curious as to the EXACT file names, PM me on my clan site www.merclegion.com and I will get it to ya in a jiffy. Thanks.

Have you sent a message to PB to let them know?? Maybe they would like to know this info.... :unsure:

With the server I mean. good to see you in here also bud!
