i keep gettin kicked out of battlefield 2 cause of Restriction:service abnormality<<<<what is this and does anyone know how to fix???

thats a kick that has appeared recently, so not a lot of information on it - from what i have read elsewhere there are a couple of things to try:

1. try turning your firewall off

2. do a complete scan for any malaware or virus's

3. make sure your pb is fully up to date (use pbsetup)

and if all else fails you can open a trouble ticket here click me

My apoligies for the large bump I am doing on this thread. However, I have recently started getting this same kick on WarRock. I am in the middle of a ticket with evenbalance and so far they have been quite helpful. Even so, I wanted to see if anyone else had any possible idea as to what could be causing it.

The first response to my ticket with EvenBalance mentioned that the kick could be caused by the program Zone Alarm. I do not have that program on my computer. So does anyone have any other ideas?

I get same error on OS Vista for BF2. In windows event viewer (security tab) I found message "Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Windows\System32\drivers\PnkBstrK.sys

". I yust added security ->"user full" for file "System32\drivers\PnkBstrK.sys" and all begins play
