MaydaX
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Developed by Treyarch, the award-winning creator of the two most-played games in Call of Duty history. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever. http://www.pcgamer.com/black-ops-3-details-found-in-call-of-duty-web-page-source/ Sounds like a repeat of BlackOps 2 and Advanced Warfare

SuperTaz
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/call-duty-black-ops-3-5-ways-different-170004048.html SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is enlisting a few new recruits. The third installment in Treyarch's popular military shooter saga is adding the option to play cooperatively with other gamers in the plot-driven campaign. The developer is also ditching traditional avatar customization in its multiplayer mode, instead opting for players to pick among nine distinct characters, each with their own unique weapon and ability. "We wanted it to have a little more soul to it," said game director Dan Bunting after a recent demonstration. "We were talking about voices and giving them personalities. It was kind of a leap of faith to say, 'You're going to pick this character who is this guy or girl, and that is the character you're gonna be.' That was the direction we started to explore." MaydaX
BlackOps3 PC will use 100% dedicated servers for all ranked matches. (Same as previous BlackOps PC titles.) This is how we do it. https://twitter.com/pcdev/status/592767945794785283 CoD Advanced Warfare said the same but they never delivered so wait and see I guess. BlackOps3 will ship with an adjustable FOV slider. (Same as previous BlackOps PC titles.) https://twitter.com/pcdev/status/592769557581996032 Just sad that they are announcing basic pc features that have been in games for many years.
SuperTaz
http://www.cnet.com/news/black-ops-3-dev-says-three-year-production-allowed-for-risk-taking/#ftag=YHF65cbda0 Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the first entry in the shooter franchise developed under Activision's new three-year production cycle for the series. In announcing this plan last year, the publisher said it would allow development teams more time to try out ideas and have the freedom to iterate on them to make a better game overall. And that's exactly what's been the case for Black Ops III, developer Treyarch says. Speaking with Game Informer, Black Ops III multiplayer director Dan Bunting said the game's new Titanfall-like movement abilities might not have made it into the game if Treyarch only had two years on the project. Oh no. "Titanfall like movement". The game will be a flop. lol

SuperTaz
https://www.yahoo.com/movies/s/call-duty-changing-formula-black-ops-3-190059094.html There’s a lot of story to tell, too. “Black Ops III” is a game with three distinct parts: The single player campaign (which will let players choose to be either a male or female character — another first), the multiplayer components and the fan-favorite zombie mode. Typically, casting has been more integral to the single player campaign, but Treyarch says it’s trying to bring more impact to the multiplayer mode, with unique voices for each specialist class (such as scout, heavy gunner or sniper). MaydaX
Black Ops 3 is basically a reboot of Advanced Warfare which didn't have much of a player base for PC. I don't see Black Ops 3 being much different 287playing an hour ago 43124-hour peak 12,649all-time peak http://steamcharts.com/app/209650

SuperTaz
http://steamcommunity.com/games/388520/announcements/detail/38632893299769457 COD:BO3 beta is now live. We want to thank you for joining us for the Black Ops 3 Beta and we are really excited to hear your feedback.Final optimizations and final Advanced Graphics features are not included in the PC Beta; however, you can expect that these will be in the final game. We typically spend the last couple of months before launch finalizing graphics features and optimizations on PC. Also, the final optimized drivers from our hardware partners will also come later. Here are some known issues and tips to help you enjoy the Beta: There are some issues that occur when using a gamepad while also using keyboard and mouse. Once in match we recommend using one control input device. During a match, changing your texture settings or shadow map quality can result in the game locking up. It is best to only make changes to these settings while not in a match to avoid these issues. There are some known issues with 4k resolution, we recommend playing in Fullscreen mode when playing on 4k monitors. Certain Sound Blaster cards set at 44000Hz or higher sample rating can cause the game to not run. Please lower this setting and try to run the game again if you experience issues. The Steam Overlay does not work if you are running Fraps Scene Resolution Ratio is a great option for increasing the game's performance. If the game isn't running smooth, using this and lowering Max FPS can really help Mouse Filtering and Mouse Sensitivity can really help the mouse feel great. For high DPI mice, we recommend turning the DPI up outside of the game and using the in game Mouse Sensitivity and Mouse Filtering to get you mouse movement exactly how you like it We will keep you updated as the Beta continues and thanks again for playing! MaydaX
For a free beta open to everyone it didn't get a lot of people for how popular the game was in the past.
