PB INIT FAILURE

Hello, I just reinstalled Joint Ops Typhoon Rising on my new Dell XPS. When I join a server, I play for a few seconds before I get kicked for PB INIT Failure. I updated my punkbuster and it still doesn't work. How do I fix it?

jotr is no longer supported by PB and nova logic are supposed to be handling what little protection jotr has left.

 

now thats out of the way :)

pb init failure is normally caused when pb receives no response off the client, its always best practise to run pbsetup before any gaming session click me .. there may also be a problem with your router if you use any of these:

 

# Linksys - possible solution: Use firmware 1.44.2

# Motorola - possible solution: Update to latest firmware

# Netgear - possible solution: Disable SPI (statefull packet inspection)
