The PBBans resommended method of streaming is via the PBBans Hub .. before any progression can you just confirm its the old rep method you want to initiate ?

 

The reason I ask is that your server does not show as "new server" waiting to be added.

I am sorry i did not know there was two methods. I should probably do the hub method. I will try that right now and get back to you.

OK, I want to use the HUB method. I just finished the instructions and everything looks good. Please let me know if i am now streaming or let me know how i can check to see if i am streaming.

The above statement is what i get when i am finished wih the HUB FTP instructions. Bellow are my last two lines in the pbsv.cfg file. It still does not appear to stream, I will wait 5 minutes and check back. Please Help, and also thanks for the fast reply earlier.

your server is still not streaming bro :(

 

Without actual access to the server its a hard job to troubleshoot exactly whats stopping it.

 

first off I would check what server responses you get to:

 

pb_sv_ver

 

pb_sv_homepath

 

if they are in order check:

 

Note 2: If your pbsv.cfg contains;

;PB UCON Settings / Lists

pb_sv_usessionlimit 0

pb_sv_ucontimeout 300

pb_sv_uconempty

pb_sv_uconignoreempty

or anything similar (normally found at the very end of your pbsv.cfg) please edit and delete before carrying on with the setup guide

 

We have seen various things that even experienced server admins overlook and these are the most common things that stop a stream being initiated.

 

If you have no luck you can pm me your pbsv.cfg accompanied by a screenshot of your pb folder and I will take a look for you :)

I checked what you asked and even restarted the server, still no luck. :(

Every time I have checked this server via hlsw its timed out.

 

ping result:

That is because of my firewall. I checked the log and see you trying to ping! What port do i need to open to allow the streaming? Please help and thanks for your time. :(

Thanks for the info, but I already have properly opened those ports suggested in the link you sent. They are open to everyone (all internet) and i am having no gaming problems at all. I have a sticky IP address which is like a static address... my address has not changed in 2 years. I still cannot get this thing to stream for what ever reason. Is anything else i need to check or do.........

I am trying very hard to keep them out and also keep already known hackers out. That is why i need this to stream. I have advanced knowledge is firewalls and Routers.......

Running game servers from your home pc is fraught with problems as you are finding out.

My only surprise is that anyone can find your server to connect to because it does not show as active in the browsers most gamers use.

There is nothing stopping you using our banlist and maybe combining it with the banlist's from other reputable anti cheat sites.
