gpsefroba Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 i am trying to install pbsvc which just installs pba and pbb. when i go to install the program i get this error Checking Administrator privileges OKOpening Service Control Manager OK Searching for Service(s) None Found - OK Extracting PunkBuster service OK Verifying service authenticity ERROR i was wondering if there was something i could do to fix this problem i disabled Antivirus and firewall dl the program like 10 times and then went crazy and reformated and still have the same problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RoadWarrior Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Download pbsetup.exe from www.evenbalance.com. In your game's install folder, name your current pb folder pb_old, and then create a new pb folder simply named pb (lower-case letters). Then slide the pbsetup.exe file into it, and run it.
