248fittedboy
No offense but I have read this over and over and over and over again, and still don't understand the first sentence lol. clan owner and I have been setting up the punkbuster and all, but he doesn't remember anythign about setting up the ftp method things, and i really don't understand what it means aswell, even when we got some help from other clans. I was wondering how we do set this up but in much easier format where a brain fart as myself can do it  . thankyou
RAMC
For a start put these lines in your 'pbsv.cfg' which you'll find in your FTP. CODE pb_sv_AutoSsFrom 60 //[Min # of seconds to wait before requesting next ss]pb_sv_AutoSsTo 180 //[Max # of seconds to wait before requesting next ss] pb_sv_AutoSs 1 //[0=No, 1=Yes (default=0)] To find the old command lines from your FTP: Access your FTP, click the folder 'cod' (or whatever game you run) then click the 'pb' folder. Open 'pbsv.cfg' in notepad. Hold Ctrl, press F, search: pb_sv_AutoSs You'll find the above 3 commands beneath each other, replace them with what I gave you. That will get your auto PBSS's being taken once you've put those cmd lines in. Now, to access them screenshots. Open the FTP as before, click the game folder, then click the folder called 'svss'. All your server screenshots should automatically save to there, and you're done. ------------- These 4 command lines are little tweaks, ask other people who play the game you do, or check out PBSS's from those games to find the best possible settings for your game (you can leave them as they are). CODE pb_sv_SsWidth 614 //[Requested pixel width of remote screenshots]pb_sv_SsHeight 506 //[Requested pixel height of remote screenshots] pb_sv_SsXpct 50 //[Percentage across screen for remote screenshots] pb_sv_SsYpct 50 //[Percentage down screen for remote screenshots] Edit: If you really get stuck, I can do it for you. My Xfire is as on the left: Saintchapple I'm trustworthy :) Xfire nickname: *|ECA:-Spanky Download a trial of: SmartFTP Very easy to use. When your trial runs out, just right click your clock on the screen, adjust date/time to a year back, and you can open SmartFTP again :D Just change back the date when you're done ;) Edited October 15, 2008 by RAMC
248fittedboy
that is very helpfull, but the problem me and the clan owner are having is, he doesn't remember how to access the ftp, and i have never set up pbss. so if you could explain how to get to the "ftp method" or what ever, than that would lead me into exactly what you posted. RAMC
I think you can do it through rcon eg, if the command line on the FTP is: pb_sv_AutoSsFrom 60 On Rcon type: rcon pb_sv_AutoSsFrom 60 In other words, put the word 'rcon' followed by one space, then the command line , into your Rcon console. Sorry I really need to go, I can help you out properly when I'm back. (What game are you running by the way?)

248fittedboy
our host is branzone, i'll talk to the clan leader tommarow morning and tell him to send in a ticket so i can speak with them. and hopefully get things straightened out, because i don't think i'll be able to figure any of this out. Ice Man
well without ftp access its hard to add configuration files, and as far as accessing the screenshots themselves they should have the answer.
248fittedboy
alright, i'll contact my provider and have them give me the information. thank you for your help, i'll be back though lol :D
RAMC
To access your FTP: Log into BranZone with your Email Addresss and Password. Then I'm guessing there will be a tab where you can click My Services/My Servers/Game Servers. Look around till you find the control panel for your Server. I'll give you an example of the kind of thing you should bind in the information section for the Server (your provider should definately show this information). ftp://[email protected] Username:gs1671 Password:7715 (Just an example) That means: Username: gs1671 FTP Address:88.242.148.8 Password 7715 Now, if that was my FTP details, I'd open SmartFTP and put into the bar at the top: Address:88.242.148.8 Login:gs1671 Password:7715 Then hit enter and it should log you in. If your game server doesn't provide that information there are some issues.. you'll need to contact them and get hold of those details for your Server. Add my Xfire for any more help! (Remember they are just example details, yours will be totally different mate) Edited October 15, 2008 by RAMC
